Best 2017 Toyota Tacoma Towing Mirrors

I bought these for my 2016 Toyota Tacoma and later transferred them to my 2017 Dodge 1500. In both cases, they are easy to adjust and fit well to the regular mirrors. When I have them on, I am able to see down each side of my travel trailer with no problem. I have not had any problems with them wanting to come off while traveling down the highway and appreciate the rubber padding on the back of the straps which prevents the truck mirrors being scratched. I highly recommend as a purchase since you can move them between vehicles.

The tow mirror is very similar to one that I have had for about 10 years and works quite well. It is easy to attach to my existing mirror, does not vibrate or shake at highway speeds and gives me a much better view of what is happening behind the trailer. It really helps when backing the trailer into the garage or a camp spot. I paid a small, reasonable fee for shipping since my order did not meet their free shipping threshold and the order was received in just a few days - very good service. I also ordered a set of their replacement ratchet straps so I could repair my old mirror and now I have a mirror for each side of the truck.

Barely installed them. I don't have an opinion just yet. It's going to take a few months of use and highway speeds to tell. But installation was simple and they seems sturdy so far.

Fast delivery, great communication, very good products. I needed these for a road trip in my new Toyota truck. I was having trouble finding ones to fit, of good quality. These were so easy to install or uninstall and of good quality. I love the idea of the larger mirrors. I have greater seeing distance. I am a retired school bus driver and safety is my main concern, as I will be traveling by myself. I do recommend this product.

Quick delivery. Product is fairly well made it seems. Attaching is a tad of a challenge and 2 sets of hands is recommended on first install. Adjusting the straps is a must. Trial and error. Visibility is not as good as I had hoped but is much better. I'm happy.

Product was just what we needed

Bought for a 2017 Tacoma. I will be returning. The idea is awesome, they extend and the mirror rotates. However the clamp system is junk. One clamp fit good closest to the door, the clamp furthest away or closer to the mirror needed a little persuasion. Once on, i tightened the clamp down and i can hear my plastic start cracking, i stop, back it off a lil bit, tighten rhe other clamp, both clamps tighted well, so i test the mirror by bumping slightly with my hand and the mirror falls off. I repeated theis three times tightening the clamps more the second and third time thinking this is going to break my plastic nirror housing... it didnt, but it was the same result each time. Slight bump of my hand on the mirror and it falls right off. No way this mirror will staY2 on going down the road. Returning for a refund.

Apear to work but haven't used them yet. Other reviews complain about vibration but as I said haven't tried them yet.

This is a mixed review. Ordering from erailer was easy and pleasant. Delivery was fast and free, and packaging was excellent. We waited to take off on our 10-day camping trip for it, and it was delivered when we were told it would arrive. We clamped the mirrors on following the directions exactly. We paid close attention to other reviews to clamp them very tight - but not TOO tight as to break the plastic pieces. We had them perfectly adjusted for seeing behind our 19' long trailer and took off. We were so pleased! We then took off down the freeway driving at about 65 mph. Within 30 minutes we had a super SHOCK! The driver side mirror broke away with a loud snap!! By the time we were able to pull off and run back to get it, it had been run over and destroyed. Since the mirrors are interchangeable, we put the passenger side mirror on the driver side and continued on. We didn't encounter any other problems, but now we are down to one mirror. I am very disappointed with the mirror breaking off as we really did our best to make sure the mirror was on very tight. This was an expensive loss.

They were a waste of money. Quality is good for what they are. After following the instructions I took the vehicle out to work the next, and they both fell off. Now that may have to do with the mirrors on my truck having a curve to them not allowing them to grab fully. etrailer’s vehicle tool said they’d fit my 2017 Toyota Tacoma.

they are a great product however driving down the highway in Penn. they had very tall road cones that busted one off. it didn't damage my truck mirror but I never replaced it. I drive my RV in the right lane and really dont' care who is behind me.

Mirror works as designed. It seems to fit most mirrors. It works on the mirrors for my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, 2006 Jeep Liberty and my 2016 Toyota Tacoma.

They work good, vibrate a little. Not many choices for Toyota Tacoma, I dont know what would be better...

Used these mirrors on a few lengthy trips now and they have been steady and secure, I added bungees first time out in case they came loose, but no longer necessary. They do keep the adjustable mirrors on my 2015 Tacoma from moving, but I expected that.

Very easy to install. Worked great. Do wish the straps was just a little bit longer. Was right at end of buckle.

I had a different company pair I tried an sent back didn’t care for them I saw a pair of the K-Source ordered a pair an already used them an the worked awesome hardly any vibration. Thank you.

Great product! I use them on all my trailers as well as my travel trailer. This is actually me second set...the first got destroyed by a hit n run and i could not live without them!

These trailering mirror extensions were purchased as a gift, however they fit perfectly on my dad's Ford F-350. Much cheaper than factory mirror extensions and perfect for his application.

This product came very quick. I like the way it slips on and locks in so easily. I will be towing a camper trailer to hopefully somewhat secluded camp sites. These extended mirrors are perfect for my needs. Looking around at what kind of extended mirrors work best, these are consistently rated very high. I would not have any problem ordering from these guys again

The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!

So far this might do the trick . A bit concerned on stability after long trip .. we shall see in time !! The passenger side is not as tight as drivers .. again time will tell .

Rather on the high side on cost but they are easy it install and remove. Field of vision is not what it could be but better than the mirrors on the truck.

Good concept but, functionally does not perform. I ordered custom mirrors for my 2024 Silverado which has cameras on the mirror and the slip ons covered them up. Also, the mirrors do not have enough adjustment for me to see the side of my trailer. I thought custom meant that these would take into account the actual equipment on my truck.

When installed they look better than any other add on mirror. The wedge that goes behind the lock screw takes a little time to get aligned, but theses mirrors did not move at all on a 1100 mile trip and did not require any re-tightening. They gave a good view of trailer and I am very satisfied with them.

This passenger side tow mirror has the same problem that the tow mirror it replaced had. It is extremely difficult to adjust the mirror the right angle to see down the side of my trailer probably. When trying to adjust it, the mirror just pops to a new position. Most times way too far. I finally got it close and just squeezed on the edge that needed to move some more but to over all mirror angle moved then.. After quite a bit of effort I gave up. If I crook my neck and lower my shoulder just right I can see if there is a vehicle back there but thats not good. The driver's side tow mirror adjusts very smoothly and holds position. I recommend you just buy the driver's side mirror and skip this passenger side model.

I got my mirrors within 5 of ordering and took them out to the truck and they slide right on and fit perfect, took all but about 5 mins to open the box and install them. probably some of the best money i ever spent. I have power mirrors on my F150 and didn't interfer with that at all. i highly recommend these mirrors i can see perfect with them hauling our camper down the road.So much better than Ford wanting $1200.00 to replace my mirrors

Only used twice as I found Tundra's stock mirrors were more than adequate for camper we were towing. I found mirrors were finicky to install without marring stock mirrors and never had a good feeling about security even though I never lost one at highway speeds.

For the money, these work really well. My Tundra really needed these so I could see for lane changes with our 23’ travel trailer. I don’t notice any excessive vibration they makes it difficult to see. The only knock on them is making sure you get the insert lined up correctly when you’re putting them on. If it’s not lined up right they can work loose and fall off, but it’s as much operator error as it is design flaw.

Even though the website indicated they would fit my 08 Toyota Tacoma, they are too big, I'll have to do some modification to get them to fit. They do not adjust down enough for all for hooks to grip the mirror.

These universal fit towing mirrors do not fit the mirrors on my 2010 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 truck. Even though they are adjustable, they do not adjust small enough to fit my mirrors (height wise)
