Best 2017 Chevrolet Colorado Towing Mirrors

have used this mirror set many times now and love it, once adjusted to my truck, very easy to install and remove, normally don't need to adjust each time I reinstall. I've marked them right ,left . no marking or marring on truck mirror , fit tight and found that they don't have to be real tight to stay on, the rubber straps do great, I normally run 70-75 mph and they don't move or slide at all...great product!

The fit isn’t great even though it was supposedly specific to my 2017 Colorado. The only instructions were on the back of the box. I asked, and paid, for UPS delivery. At the last hour they changed it to customer pickup. The fact that the box was totally tore up and taped back together may have had something to do with it. I had read that etrailers packaging was not good and now I see what they meant. The mirrors were not broken however. We will see how they work on my next trip.

Mirrors seem stable after testing them on my 2017 Chevy Colorado without driving. I don't have the travel trailer yet, so I cannot review them. Instead this is about the purchasing and delivery experience... It was easy to make the purchase. The website is certainly exhaustive and the community (both from eTrailer salespeople and from customers) is lively and helpful. That said, the box was pretty beaten-up when it arrived...it was retail packaging, not put in another box. I'm all for an environmental focus (less packaging purchased, less produced), but an outer box may have been safer for transit.

This mirror was the only one I could find that would work on my 2021 Chevy Colorado pickup. I have been very pleased with the mirrors. I have learned to check the tightness of the screw on clamps, each time I stop. I have lost two of these from road vibration. I now have 3 of them, so I have a spare if another one gets lost or broken.

I pull my 2021 Keystone Bullet with a 2021 Chevy Colorado pickup. Chevy doesn't currently does not have a towing mirror for my truck. I found this one and it has worked great. I recently lost one of my mirrors on my way home from a campground. This one will replace that one. I just have to remember to tighten the screws each time I leave my home or campground!!

A heads up to anyone who owns a 2015 or newer Colorado. This mirror is only as steady as the mirror it attaches to. Can't fault the mirror itself, which seems well made, or the factory mirror, but unfortunately, it vibrates on my vehicle, a 2016 Colorado. The factory mirror housing itself is a bit flexible both top and bottom, and of course the towing mirror moves with it. Probably just fine on some other vehicles with thicker housings.

Both. Mirrors arrived quickly and in good condition. They were boxed up and we'll protected. I haven't installed or used them yet so I can't comment on their use and function. Happy so far.

I am VERY satisfied with this product. I tow a 21' travel trailer behind a 2016 Chevy Colorado LT crew cab and wouldn't be without these mirror extensions. The obvious advantage is the view to the rear of the trailer eliminating the dangerous blindspots to the sides of the trailer. The only problem I have with these mirrors is that the mounting is a little too flexible which requires some adjustment each time I install the mirrors, but that is a very minor inconvenience which I have become accustomed to.

Order process was super easy. The package came a day early, which was great. So far they have worked great other than I'm not sure how to properly adjust the passenger side and I haven't had any luck finding YouTube videos but I'll keep looking. Overall I'm very happy with them.

Fit as described on my 2017 Colorado ZR1. Installed in minutes. Haven't towed with them yet, but did back up to trailer and satisfied with view.

Good tracking system. delivered on time with no damage. Product is as described no complaints.

The good: inexpensive; decent quality materials The bad: doesn't hold it position very well during extensive or high speed travel - you have to readjust at nearly every stop for gas on a trip. Conclusion: It is worth the money due to its fair price.

Installed on my 2017 Colorado they are marginal at best on this truck. The fit could be better, I added some foam strips to fill the space on top and bottom, but they are a universal fit product so I am not surprised the fit isn't perfect. They do give a slightly better view around my 8 ft wide camper. They are difficult to adjust and require readjustment each time they are installed as you never get them in the same position. And they shake. You can still see but is not very clear. With all that being said they are not expensive and when properly adjust stay attached well.

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.

They are very easy to install and remove when parked for extended periods. Costumer service was very helpful with getting me the correct marrows.

Great product! I use them on all my trailers as well as my travel trailer. This is actually me second set...the first got destroyed by a hit n run and i could not live without them!

These mirrors fit perfectly on my 2017 Chevy Colorado, you can hardly tell they are snapped on over the factory mirrors. They give me additional visability around my camper for traffic behind me. It is sometimes confusing having 2 mirror surfaces to look at (original mirror and extension mirror) but you get used to it.

These mirrors fit and look great. There's no vibration or movement when going down the road and help a lot with visibility when towing.

These are Quality Mirrors, very sturdy. Took me about an hour on the first side, (learning curve) but the second side was 1/2 of that. Makes the truck look great and can't believe what a difference they make for field of view. As for function my truck was set up for the turn signal and power mirrors and they work great.

The service from etrailer was great like always. These mirrors are for our 03 Yukon for towing a travel trailer.They are condsiderably larger than the OEM mirrors in the collapsed position, the once extended they are almost twice as long. The only problem I had is the directions are a bit generic and tell you to pry the power window switch panel from the door panel to access the wiring. The picture supplied shows the lock panel being pried off which is correct but the power window is screwed in from the backside so the door panel needs to be removed and then reach behind it to remove the wiring.

They are fine for the price but hard to adjust the mirror itself after installation. I’ll be installing the bigger factory trailer mirrors pretty soon.

They appear to be as advertised, well made and should be easy to install. That may change once the rain stops and I am able to actually install them and then use them during the towing operation of our trailer. But i feel pretty confident they will be very helpful.

The mirrors were extremely easy and the fit is perfect. These look almost like a factory option installation. All lamp and cameras are exposed and not blocked. The individual mirrors are easily adjustable. Great product! Very pleased.

These mirrors helped tremendously when towing my Micro Minnie travel trailer versus stock mirrors on my GMC SIERRA 1500. The extended mirrors enabled to better determine when it was safe to move back into my lane after passing a vehicle and allowed me to see better the vehicles behind trailer. Although there was an occasional slight vibration in the passenger side mirror, it did not disrupt the usability of the mirrors. The towing mirrors took only a minute or two to install and fit perfectly on the stock mirrors. Adjusting them properly takes a little more time and is easier when a second person helps. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!

installed extended mirrors in less than 5 min while having a conversation with my wife. The spacers were easy to determine. Used the mirrors this weekend with my camper plus utility trailer hauling my 4 wheeler. What a blessing to be able to see the cars behind me! These were the perfect edition in preparation for my Colorado trip and did not cost me the 800 from the dealership to put on factory mirrors.

I always wait for a period of time before writing a review to ensure I don't encounter problems shortly after receiving and using a product. I purchased this in the middle of December 2019, so I have been using it was several months. I purchased the outside mirror to replace a broken one on my Toyota Tundra. Received the mirror in a timely manner, and it met its description perfectly. Although I perform some repairs on my vehicles, by no means am I a mechanic or body repairman, I was able to remove the old mirror and install the new one in about 30 minutes. In the future I will not hesitate to order from etrailer for additional needs.

The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!

First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

Just installed them and tried. It would be great if they did not vibrate that much; unfortunately they do; so we will have to find a way to improve it.
