Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Honda Fit

Today on our 2015 Honda Fit, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex. This would be your hanging style 4 bike. This will be part number TH9029XT. As you can see, we've already got a bike on here, installed so you can see what it looks like once you have it on the vehicle. First thing we're going to do is come down to the bottom and get a few measurements, starting with our closest distance first, which in this case is going to be from the flange here to the backside of the bumper, at about 3-7/8 inches. Our overall distance with the cradle arms extended like they are, is going to be from the bumper to the rear at around 36 inches, with a rear ground clearance of about 8-3/4 inches. Now we're going to talk about the straps on top. The straps holding the top part of your bike are going to be your frame straps.

Saris Axis Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Honda Fit

Speaker: Today on our 2015 Honda Fit, we'll be doing a test fit on the Saris Axis Hanging Style Two Bike-rack, part number SA832. As you can see, we've already got our bike up here and mounted on our rack so you can see what it'll look like on your vehicle once you have it in place. First thing we're going to do is we're going to move down the front of our bike rack and we're going to get our measurement of our closest distance, and that's going to be from the front of the rack to the back of the receiver. That distance is going to be about four and a quarter inches. Our overall distance back to the backside here of your cradle arms that are extended out will be from the bumper to that point at around 23 inches. Our ground clearance from the bottom of the rack is going to be about eight and a half inches. Moving up top, we'll talk about the straps.
