K-Source Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 1
Product seems well-built, unfortunately it does not fit a 1997 Ford Explorer. The factory mirrors have a triangular cut-out on the lower edge, and the mounting clips are about an inch too far apart to properly engage. The mounting clips are fixed and can't be adjusted closer together, so this is going back.
I am using this mirror set on my Explorer when pulling my 8 foot wide trailer. It adjusts in height very well. The mirror locks into the edge of the existing mirror and does not vibrate. Well worth the cost.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
The mirrors appear to be pretty sturdy. The actual mirror seems a bit small, but I have not used the mirrors yet to tell if the mirror size is actually adequate or not. The clamps are nicely machined and not one bit flimsy; they are rock solid. The lower part of the clamp that wedges into the mirror housing is nice and thin, but it still seems to touch the top of the truck's mirrors slightly. But, they still seem to be able to adjust ok, occasionally grabbing the clamp and jumping a little. One other semi trivial thing that was a little disappointing; I had to use a wrench on the nut used to adjust the tube length, and the wrench scratched the paint off of the aluminum nut. It detracted from the fine appearance of the mirrors ever so slightly. I wish I had some exact match touch up paint. In a couple of days I will get to use them for the first time whereas I am picking up my new travel trailer from the dealer out east on Long Island. I'll report back on how well it went and how well the mirrors worked. I'll even try to add pictures.
The mirrors are very secure to the mirrors on our Ford Explorer Sport Track. It make hauling our 25' travel trailer much easier to see traffic.

My rating is less to do with the product and more with etrailer. I ordered an identical mirror (CIPA model 11950) on amazon for less than half the price, 1 day shipping, free delivery, and it did not fit my vehicle so I bought the one etrailer recommended for my vehicle. I thought it was CIPA model 7070 but that is just the etrailer model #. I got CIPA model 11950 which I already have. Now I need to return the ones to etrailer and I'm being charged $16 to do so. This could have been avoided if the CIPA model number was immediately visible in the description (it is there in small print at the bottom). Also, my vehicle's mirror (2018 explorer) is not the same as the 2018 explorer in the video and picture. So it's not accurate for etrailer to say it fits all 2018 Explorers.
I received the trailer mirrors on the date in which stated. The quality of the mirrors are great and easy to use. I highly recommend etrailer.com - the quality assurance and follow up to make sure you receive your order is excellent.

CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
To start, great price and fits my 2015 explorer very well. Easy to put on and have had no problems highway speeds and all. As most mirrors do there is a bit of shake but I expected such. My only reason for 3 stars is when I ordered I ordered 2 mirrors for both sides of vehicle. When package was delivered it was on the mirror box and looked a little rough shape. The mirror was fine but was definitely a concern when opening. On top of the mirror being shipped on original packaging as you would likely find on a shelf in a store there was no foam or anything to protect it but It did arrive fine. My last thing is that only 1 mirror was delivered. They were very quick to correct this and get me the other in as soon as possible and very polite. And the missing mirror can packed in a box with padding and made me very happy to see that. I would give a 5 star review on everything if I received both and packed better but the mirrors are great and would order again.
Clips do not fit between mirror and housing. While driving the vibration in mirror makes it difficult to see things. Difficult to adjust to proper angle.

I told a 7 foot wide travel trailer behind my Ford Explorer It needs extended mirrors to tow properly and I tried a different style first. Those just didn’t work satisfactorily for a year and I gave up on them. When I found these at etrailer and watched their video on them, I was impressed and ordered them. I’ve used them once and I am even more impressed. They attached very firmly with no wiggle or shake, and they’re adjustable in many ways. They are the answer to my problem. Looks like a great product.

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Flat Mirror - Qty 2
Very good quality construction. Very good fit for a non-custom mount. Thick rubber straps are stretched over the car’s side mirror and hold the mirror well. My car is a 2017 Ford Expedition EL. Note: when you fold in the car mirror the towing mirror partially blocks the progress so that mirror stops early. It is still folded but not as completely as without the tow mirror. And yes, they are two identical mirrors so on one side the straps go up, on the other side they go down.

Tried 2 other trailer mirrors and they did not fit our Jeep Grand Cherokee. These fit perfectly, as advertised, and go on very easily. Has made backing up the trailer so much less stressful. And great customer service to boot!!

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Strap On - Black
Not a good mirror. Second time using it fell off my car and smashed in road. Thank goodness it did not hit another car. The foam pads slid off and you can not get a good grip. I returned and they are sending me same one, because it was after 30 days.

The mirrors fit well are tight on the factory mirrors. My main problem with them is that the straps can slip out of the clips, I lost one clip while driving this way, and the other almost happened but I noticed it before we got to driving.
They seem like they will work although The fit isn't as good as I was hoping. I will find out the first time I do 60 mph in the New Mexico winds. They appear to be worth the price.
What our customers are saying:
"WOW! I am impressed! I called to place my order and real person answered, spoke perfect English, albeit a slight southern accent, and my order was sent within a day, shipped quickly and I had it a few days later. I saved over a hundred dollars over local and installed it my self. I cant imagine how that they could do any better. THANKS!"
