24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
This a very nice hitch rack. Well built, lots of space, long hitch tube works very well with Jeep Wrangler JL spare tire, however, you will not be able to open the swing tailgate with the rack on. Its not a big issue as it provides a good amount of clearance to the ground. If you use this carrier with one of the hitch rack cargo bags, it really adds to the cargo capacity of the rack. I have been very happy with this rack, I also like that you can add additional tail/brake lights to the rack.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I was looking for a basket style hitch carrier that was not too big. Most carriers I saw were 60 inches long. This one is 48 inches and was just what I was looking for. I like everything about this carrier: the looks, style, size and weight. I will be using it to carry beach equipment during our summer vacations to the Outer Banks, NC. The assembly instruction page leaves alot to be desired as there is one picture trying to explain how to completely assemble the carrier. You can figure it out, but will take some time and multiple looks at the one diagram. It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble. Some other facts for those of you looking for a hitch carrier to use on a Jeep Wrangler. I have a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited with the factory installed trailer towing package & 2 inch receiver. You have to use a hitch extender with this particular carrier in order to clear the rear mounted spare tire. The JK Wranglers need approx. 12 inches out from the center of the hitch pin hole. Also, you will not be able to fully open the tailgate as the tire will hit the carrier. If you went with a flat carrier (not the basket style of this Curt one), you most likely would be able to open the tailgate and clear a flat carrier. Troop, the customer service rep who assisted me with my order was fantastic.
It's been good so far after a year. I use it on my jeep wrangler JK 2 door for extra storage when I need it. I would say when assembling be careful not to over tighten as the screws will push into the metal and sink into it if you over tighten. Also make sure you get an anti-rattle hitch adapter to prevent shaking and swaying. Other than that so far so good, recommend it, especially if you have a jeep, the width is perfect. Oh and I also use a drop hitch adapter so I can open the tailgate of the jeep without taking this off; it might be a good idea to get one too. My Setup: Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door - 3" Lift Blue Ox Towbar Drop or Rise Receiver - 6" Drop - 6" Rise Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches 2" Anti-Rattle HitchLock

20x48 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
I ordered one of these for my 2002 Jeep Wrangler and am very pleased with it. I thought I was going to need a hitch extender to clear the factory spare tire mounted on the rear of the Jeep when it was in the folded up position, but found that it was not necessary. It clears the tire by a couple of inches when it's in the "up" positon.
Works with my spare tire I love this cargo carrier. The 13 inches is just enough clearance for the spare tire on my Jeep Wrangler. I was a bit worried about the back door clearing the rack, but found that if I remove the pin completely and let the carrier drop below its normal level, that I can also open the back door. In the regular flat position, the tire doesn't clear the lip of the rack. Works great if you don't mind undoing the pin to open the back door. I move mine around all the time. I recommend getting locking bolts to hold the license plate on so they don't rattle off.

Folding option is great. Weight allowance appears legit.
Perfect, no problems installing

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Square tubing did not fit into square receiver on my Jeep. I had to file down the square tubing to make it fit. The tubing should be rounded like the receiver.
Just put it together and attached the maxxhaul bag to show the wife. After reading the reviews I chose this set up for our cross country move because it won't block my Wrangler tail lights. Seems like a great addition so far. Will update once it's tested

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Seems to be a great product and well made. I bought the foldable model as I drive a Jeep Wrangler 4dr. The spare is mounted on the rear tailgate as are all Jeep Wranglers. My only beef is that this model will NOT fold up with a standard Jeep hitch. IT touches the spare tire about a half inch too soon. I asked specificaly about this issue before buying and the lady that helped me gave me the dimensions. I measured it with her on the phone and told her I thought it would not fit with the measurements she gave. I was correct, it will not fold into a locked position. So I can only redrill the insert shaft , the hitch itself, buy a shaft extension or not fold it. The unit is heavy duty and seems well made. However there seems to be alot of play between the shaft insert and the hitch receptacle which will probably make alot of noise on rough roads. overall I am sure it is a good product but e.trailer needs to do some remeasuring.
Bought this for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Works great!

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Awesome cargo rack. Went together easy and built super strong! Love eTrailer.com!
Bought a jeep Wrangler and wanted extra cargo room. Also wanted to drive on beach and fish, the carrier will be perfect for rod holders and a cooler. This cargo carrier was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Easy install of the hitch and the rack is perfect for our outdoor activities. Thanks for the help on choosing it.
It was perfect for our trip to the smokey mountains. we took to Jeep wrangler and used two heavy duty plastic tubs and were able to take everything we needed. It cleared the rear tire with plenty of space and everything was clean and dry. sturdy and does the job

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I received the package in a pretty rough exterior condition but everything was fine inside. The previous comments about having to cut away the expanded metal flooring in order to install the carriage bolts wasn't true in my case. Apparently, this quality control issue has been addressed by the manufacturer. Assembly went well and wasn't complicated. A different carriage bolt with a longer square shoulder should be used. The shoulder doesn't grip too well to the square cutout in the frame and even while pressing firmly on the head of the bolt, it wanted to turn as I was tightening the nut. All in all, it seems to be a solid product and I look forward to using it.
I wish the load capacity was a bit higher, but overall I am satisfied with the cargo carrier. It is perfect for lugging my two dog crates behind my vehicle instead of inside the vehicle. Thank you for offering a dimensionally larger cargo carrier than most retailers.

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
bought it for my husband he loves it for 2014 kia Sportage LX reddit regional rails

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
I just installed this basket with the extender. I am totally pleased with it's quality and easy of assembly. I did ask etrailer about the fit for a 93 Wrangler with a Smittybilt rack (pics included). I was told that the rack without the extender would not fit so I ordered the package. They were correct, it had to have the extender but not for the reason they told me. the spacing between the rails for the rack were OK but the middle rail on the rack placed the brackets for the basket directly over the cloth top frame and they rubbed, which would have worn the top. I am glad I ordered the extender. One thing: I tried to order the light bracket kit but it was OOS so they told me they would not send anything until those were in. I needed the basket now and did not want to wait for the entire order(and pay interest on my credit card). I cancelled the order and then did reorder just the basket and extender later. Now I will have to pay shipping on the light brackets. In all-I love that basket-it looks great, the fit and finish is perfect and it's strong beyond expectations.
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Very durable basket, and fairly easy to install. It's definitely transformed the look and practicality of our little SUV.
I am very pleased with the quality for the price.Just the right size for my 2017 Chevy Trax.the "U" bolts that are used to clamp the basket to the roof cross bars were a bit long so I cut them shorter & installed rubber caps on top of each stud. This keeps the studs from damaging items in the bssket.See pictures.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
Good sturdy product with the drop down featuer I needed for my Jeep Wrangler. Only drawback is the installation of the pin that holds it in the hitch reciever. Rather than slide a pin in, you have to thread in what's basically a bolt. The paint on the rack makes this kind of tough the first couple of times to the point that you need a ratchet. And you have to make sure that it goes in the right side. But all in all, a very nice product and a great price.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Great product. Great quality. Instructions not real clear, so took me a couple of hours to assemble. Then another 15-20 minutes to secure to roof racks. I was working alone, extra hands would have helped. But extremely happy with quality and looks of product. We have lots of family that visit us, so I plan to carry luggage on the rack to free up space inside the vehicle on trips to and from the airport.
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.

19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
We used this luggage rack for a 2 week road trip in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. It worked great! Carried all our luggage and gear, didn’t obstruct the tail lights and was super easy to put on and take off. I was completely pleased with the rack and would recommend it.
Sturdy. Well constructed. Fits my lifted jeep wrangler even with larger rear spare.

19x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
used multiple times to haul my 6hp outboard together with boat accessories for my portabote. No sway issues, no quality issues, works as expected which is excellent. Easy setup. On a heavy side as expected, but no issues setting up alone I am using this on jeep wrangler 2017 unlimited, not modified. For my application it works well with known in advance limitations: 1. due to spare tire i cannot open the gate 2. for the same reason cannot fold carrier
Just wanted to do a follow up with you in regards with a Hitch Cargo carrier I had purchased from you before the holidays. Not sure if you need my order number or not to prove it but just wanted to give some feed back. I did send you some pictures with it installed, not sure if you had received them or not. They were before and after pictures before I added some more reflective tape on the carrier for more safety. I did have some trouble in order to keep the carrier stationary with it having to much play in it. Wasn't as stiff or secure as I would have liked it, but with really tighting up the bolts on the hitch shaft & carrier it was alot better. I do have a problem where it does like to keep getting loose and I have to keep tighting it which I dont think I should have to keep doing. The bolt has actually began to cut into the black powder coat as it's the only was to tighten it for it to remain secure. It will sway or have to much play in it if I don't tighten it. And the layer of powder coat on it is pretty slim. I use to deal with, apply and work with powder coating on products for years learning all that I could as it was a new job I took a path in with a company. So I know a bit about it. I just wish they had done a thicker layer or some kind of added protection layer on top of the basic simple application they did on the carrier. But I guess this is something I can do later on to perfect it and give the carrier a long life. Wasn't aware when I purchased the carrier that only a small coat was applied. I should have done more research with pricing but already did research on what kind and who to use when buying so I assumed etrailer was the place to shop & buy. I did very much glad I was able to talk with you, help me out and figure out what I was looking for. Giving me a my options, not pressuring me, being so helpful making it easy to purchase and delivery. When I had no idea what I was getting into you did make it extremely comfortable, personable and customer friendly helping me out every step of the way. So I guess in the long run the extra pricing is being paid for the customer support, friendly & helpful service, along with being able to call anytime getting a person and not a computer for any help or problems that I might encounter. And for that alone, it makes it worth it. Just didnt know why Curt sold things to them and the price is different when I thought I was getting a great deal already. But wanted to let you know they are being sold cheaper elsewhere than e-trailer. And it's not even a holiday special..lol I hope this email can give any insight on the product and makes sense also. I will find out starting Jan. 12th when we start traveling into the cold how everything holds up, and pray that it does great in the cold. With it being in warmer weather now I do have to admit I'm a bit scared. I hope the cold won't give me problems with constantly having to tighten things down, things can stay tight and secure without coming loose, and for the bag to hold up more than anything. On my time will tell. Maybe this can help anyone else seeing what it looks like on a Jeep Wrangler Sport also with the rear mounted tire. It's close but everything fits without a problem,no clearance issue's or mounting issue's what so ever. However, I did add more reflective tape so the Curt cargo carrier was more visible for driver's that don't pay attention and not much was offered for the cargo carrier. I have both pictures before and after, with more tape and without, and it adjusted up & down. I did have some trouble with it moving around some hitting the rear tire so I just used a bungee cord to secure it tight against the tire to correct it. This is mounted on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport so this model covers many types and years. Can be very helpful for any other Jeep owners and can use this for any reference. This is gonna help use so much and wish we had this on the 1st move we had out to Cali. I don't have any pictures yet with the luggage and bag full yet, but will try and get them over to you when we use it and pack it up. Should help also for anyone with concerns what is looks like full, any taillight problems, license plate, etc.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…

"The trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier is an outstanding accessory. It allowed us to bring so much more on vacation. The side rails made securing things really easy and the auxiliary taillight kit plugged right into my plug. The service was so great that I just ordered a trailer hitch cover for the winter. Thanks!"
