Best 1994 Dodge Ram Pickup 5th Wheel Gooseneck Adapters

I decided to buy the Champion fifth wheel hitch to pull a fifth wheel camper, my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 already had a B&W goose neck hitch in it. The champion hitch allowed me to also have a fifth wheel hitch with out drilling and mounting more weight to the truck. The instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow making the assembly of the hitch easy. The hitch fit snug and there is no play in it. The 26' fifth wheel camper pulled nicely, no surging or swaying.

Awesome product. Best of both fifth and goose put together about time. No annoying rails on my trucks bed, just remove fifth wheel flip gosse over and hides in hole within minutes. 2016 350 Ram. 38' 5R no problem nice setup.

This hitch adapter is heavy duty. It's easy for two people to install in under an hour and all parts fit together well. The instructions were well written in English, which is the official language of our country (USA). The offset adapter works great with my 2011 Ram 2500 4x4 which sits higher due to oversized tires. My shipment was received two days after I ordered it without paying any expedited freight charges! It is a great investment. I did not want to put the rails in my truck and this was the answer to utilize my gooseneck set up for my fifth wheel. It also provides a lot of room in the bed of my truck

Perfect set up for my ram megacab short bed. Tows quiet never had any rattling and the slider definitely helps in tight situations.

The hitch is easy to ensemble. Great design. Pulled my trailer great! But when I hooked up the second time to the trailer the roll pin that goes in the locking bar fell out. Wasn't a really big deal. But if I hadn't had any tools and a 1/4" bolt with a lock nut I probably won't have been able to hook up. Maybe they could change that. The best adapter from gooseneck to fifth wheel.But all in all very happy with it.

The hitch is much heaver and better built than it appears in the online photo. It was easy to install over my gooseneck ball took less than 20 min. rides nice with almost no noise. The set up also has about 3" of offset this was nice as I pull with a 6.5 bed ram 2500.

Used the Companion hitch to convert gooseneck ball mount to 5th wheel hitch. Companion fits perfectly inside the well of my flatbed and is easy to remove to use the gooseneck ball and easy to re-install. The hitch is very secure and tows my RV quite smoothly. There is no back and forth movement and I couldn’t be happier with it. Easy to hook up and disconnect the trailer. Highly recommended. Etrailer staff was very helpful in helping me find the right equipment to meet my needs.

Hitch is great, B&W products are exceptional. Had the turnover ball mounted on a Douglass flatbed. Purchased the fifth wheel hitch for a 37 ft two axle toy hauler. Pulls great, easy installation. Make sure to make all the appropriate measurements before purchasing. There were some shipping issues. etrailer failed to send a bolt bag initially. Took a while to get that rectified, but all is well.

The adapter was easy to install just as stated... Some conflicting info... Depending on what I read...pin boxes over 24" you need to call... Other ads no mention of this... I called...our pin box 36".. Person stated it will be fine just old info out there... I really don't know if that is true

Installed in about ten minutes, ( I used a bearing puller to seat the bushings ) five minutes to tack weld it into place and done. Pulls better than a fifth wheel hitch IMO. Seems to be made very well. Took two days for deliver. Very satisfied

Put this setup on a 2021 pj flatbed with a recessed gooseneck (believe it's a b&m 30k kit) in it from the factory. The top of the ball is about 1/8"-3/16" lower than the deck. Took a few tries to make everything fit along with some modifications to the set screws. I had to trim off about 1/4" on the bottom set screw to clear my opening. Also I can't set the 5th wheel height to the lowest setting because the upright casting sticks out the bottom of the frame. One could trim that off as well but then you lose the hole for the highest setting. Gonna run in the middle setting and if I have to, I'll trim off the excess to make it sit lower. Bed is on a 2014 Ram 4500. Top of bed to ground with no load is 41.5" at the rear axle. Overall looks like it will work for what I'm doing.

Shipper dropped box, chipped some paint, and pin is missing. Other than that, smooth process from order to delivery. No fault to trailer at all. Seems like a well built rugged hitch!

Makes for a more stable hitch with the Ram Puck System, don't hear of feel the gooseneck down pipe flexing, makes hooking up easier in that I don't have to get up into the bed to close and lock the gooseneck lock. Yeah, glad I went this way. Easy install.

This hitch mount is great! I can now swap over from my 5th wheel hitch to a gooseneck in minutes. This is a great product. I had a gooseneck hitch already installed in my pick up but needed to tow my 29 foot 5th wheel. I other mounts to install the 5the wheel to my 2013 Ram but the gooseneck hitch mount was in the way. This product worked great. Used it in a 2016 Ram 2500 4x4 with the B&W turnover ball. The only problem is the safety chains for the B&W wont let this set flat against the bed of the truck. I solved this problem by using a heavy duty 1/4 inch rubber bed mat between the bed and this bracket and cut the rubber around the B&W hole and safety chains. That helped take up the extra space and helped to protect the spray in bed liner from being rubbed. Had no problems towing my fifth wheel and was happy I don't have these rails permanently mounted in my truck bed.

Box was destroyed due to shipping with the USPS, but heavy pce, so its was expected. HItch was as expected, satisfied.

Fits perfectly into curt goose neck hitch. My reese 5th wheel hitch fits on the rails perfect. I haul dirt bikes in my truck so being able to take the rails out is perfect..... nothing in the way of loading or unloading

Fits a little loose but all in all ez install great solution to utilize all Towing capabilities

Fit well in the tube,load pin went in the holes without issues. The only thing I can see needing improvement is packaging. it was shipped in a "tire box" 3x too big & no padding,it cut through the box. Should consider using a 12"x12"x36"heavy wall box to make it easier to handle for the shippers (not sliding around in the box at approximately 45#).

Have not unboxed or used it yet but shipping was good.

This adapter allowed me to quickly install a fifth wheel hitch in my single wheel shortbed truck which had a gooseneck hitch without any extra installation work, other than just dropping it in. Easily installed and has worked well with a slider hitch.

I am actually of town but I will say that product showed up in a timely manner. It won't be used until spring as it is going on a trailer that I only use during the summer.

I have a 3 car wedge trailer that I used every day. I had a lot of rocking with the gooseneck so I switched to this 5th wheel adapter. It definitely made a difference in stability. I’ve had no problems with it at all.
