That is a nice setup. You are absolutely right that adding an air bag kit will help to reduce the porpoising and side-to-side movement while you are towing. When you factor in your campers hitch weight, plus the weight of your companion slider you should be just under/around 2,800 lbs added to the bed of your truck.
