Wanting air bags for my chevy 2500 crew cab 4x4 duramax. I am looking at the firestone kit. Is a compressor needed and if so which one do you recommend?

There are Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring Kits for your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4WD Duramax.

Firestone Ride-Rite # F2613 is for up to 5000lbs capacity, and Firestone Ride-Rite Extreme Duty #F2709 is for up to 7500lbs capacity. Both are Firestone Kits have top of the line air bags that offer a rolled crimp design that prevents air from leaking and do not require an on board air compressor as they have Schrader valves that install at the rear of the truck for you to manually air up with an air compressor. But an on board air compressor kit makes life a lot easier and will allow you to fill up your airbags from the comfort of your vehicle.

I recommend adding the Air Command Compressor System w/ Light Duty Compressor # F2610 which is controlled by a wireless remote to keep you from having to manually fill the airbags each time you add a heavy load to your truck.
