Although nothing is completely theft-proof when placed in an open cargo carrier like part # C18110, you can take some measures to make it a lot tougher for thieves.
If the cargo can be placed in one container or bag like the etrailer Cargo Bag, part # e98990, that can deter would-be thieves from taking anything because it is tougher to get to.
Another option is to use some locking straps like part # RRRTD35L. These are 1-inch wide and 11-1/2 ft long and comes with locks and keys to... view full answer...
I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2011 Ram 2500 and found a couple of fuses you will want to check inside the power module located in the engine compartment. There should be a 40 amp green fuse located in the J01 position and a 20 amp blue fuse in the J14 position. Both of these fuses are related to trailer lights so you will want to check to make sure they are present and in good condition.
If the fuses are good and you are having issues with the trailer... view full answer...
Since you have VIN number, you will simply need to get a bill of sale since he didn't have a title. The DMV won't have record of the trailer because it hasn't been registered with a title yet. With the VIN and a Bill of Sale, you will be able to get the title you need and get it registered. view full answer...
Thanks for the purchase of the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2299, and those along with an Air Ride pin box like the Trailair # LC158778 put you very much ahead of the game in terms of towing comfort.
But as far as psi in the air bags, there really isn't a recommended level. You should really just experiment to see what the most optimal setting is for you, though I will say 10 psi is pretty low. I think it would probably be a good idea to pump that psi up to see if it makes... view full answer...
When loading bikes onto the cradles before raising the center mast on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack for 2 Electric Cargo Bikes # HR1450Z or the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Cargo Bikes - 2" Hitches # HR1450Z-W, it truly depends on the height of the bike's downtube and the front derailleur/pedals. This is because the only way to raise the mast with a bike loaded is if the ratcheting hooks are all the way in the down-most position on the rack, and... view full answer...
For your 14 to 16 foot pop-up camper, I highly recommend the Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover for Pop-Up Camper # 290-12294.
A lot of covers can be tricky, especially if they don't fit correctly, but the Adco will hold up wonderfully to the bad weather and wind you see. It is a much better fit than other covers because it combines cinch ropes and weighted straps to secure the cover to your camper. The Adco also has corners which are elastic so they stretch a bit but are reinforced to resist... view full answer...
There are no installation instructions for the Ribbed Rubber Trailer Mat, part # 3622RM. As far as traction, it would make sense that installing the mat with the ribs running horizontal would provide a bit more traction than vertical, but I have not heard anyone mention traction issues with the mats installed. If the ribs are running vertical on a ramp it would allow water or snow to run off the mat which could help.
This mat measures 36-inches wide and 22-feet long, so you can cut the... view full answer...
In order to find the model number on the Furrion 2-in-1 Range Oven part # FSRE21SABL you will need to pull this out away from the cabinets and then look on the left hand side of the unit for a white sticker with barcode which should then display the model number. If you are in need of a replacement glass top, the Replacement Glass Top for Furrion 2-in-1 Range Oven part # C-FSRE21SA-SS-003 fits the FSRE17SABL, FSRE17SASS, FSRE21SABL, and FSRE21SASS.

Setting the sync on a Draw-Tite Brake Controller # 5504 allows you to set the amount of power the brake controller will put out. If you set the sync power low it does not matter how hard you hit the brakes, as they will be applied with the amount of pressure you set the controller at.
If you are traveling where there is gravel or loose rock or even in the rain you may wish to set it a bit lower so that the brakes do not lock up on the trailer when you press the pedal.

The Stromberg Carlson # VGD-02-4000 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate would be the correct fit for your truck. The tailgate itself isn't paintable, but the available louver insert kit, part # 4000-V can be painted, which would give a pretty cool look. There is also an upper insert, part # VI-4000 that can be painted as well.
You can see the tailgate being installed on a 2003 Ram 3500 by clicking the provided link. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Trailair and from your serial number we were able to determine that your trailer came with a 1621 HD pin box which is a long pin box style. I was unable to obtain the exact part number for your Trailair pin box but from the picture that you provided, it looks as though someone may have replaced the original long style pin box with a medium style. In order to determine this you will just need to take a quick measurement from the back row of bolts to the center... view full answer...
That is a neat looking camper. 1989 was a good year. Honestly, the same answer will apply to the brakes on your 1989 Silver Streak Travel Trailer. The 12" x 2" brakes are still standard. We will just need to make sure that the brake mounting flange bolt pattern matches up. These days the 5 bolt flange, like on part # AKEBRK-7-SA is standard for the 12" brakes. I have included a diagram showing the dimensions of the standard 5 bolt brake flange for your reference.

Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to use a dual hitch adapter like # D-192 for that, as having one accessory installed would prevent you from installing one in the other receiver. They just wouldn't fit.
We do have the perfect solution for you though. I'd go with the Hollywood Racks # HR1450Z-85 SportRider SE which can carry two bikes weighing up to 50 lbs each and up to 100 lbs of cargo.
If that option doesn't offer enough cargo capacity, I'd typically recommend installing a front... view full answer...
The manufacturer and model number of the pin box is usually printed on a sticker or stamped into a plate or directly into the metal of the pin box.
If you can't find that, the manufacturer of your 5th wheel should be able to tell you which pin box you have if you provide them with the VIN.
If you can't reach the manufacturer or they can't help for some reason, take a look at the FAQ article I've linked you to. The article shows you how to measure the spacing of the bolt holes in your... view full answer...

Yes, there is a plug-and-play pigtail which you can use to install the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 in your 2006 Ram 2500 with the factory tow package. The plug you need is part # 3020-P. The plug will be located under the dash, right behind the parking brake.

The answer is actually pretty simple, because using any type of hitch adapter, including a hitch extender, reduces the capacity of your trailer hitch by 50 percent, and that includes both the towing capacity and the tongue weight capacity.
I am not certain what the tongue weight capacity of the hitch on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 is, but using the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 14" Long # C45795 or the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Receivers -18" Long # C45796 will reduce that... view full answer...
