Instead you want something like the Powerbuilt bottle jack, part # ALL640405. It has plenty of capacity at 4,000 pounds and is for raising a vehicle like your X5 to change a tire. It's also pretty compact and not very expensive.

The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT that you referenced would not cause any error codes on the dash of your 2016 BMW X5 as long as it's installed properly. Basically your vehicle wouldn't know this was installed since it basically uses sensors wrapped around the taillight wiring to know what turn signal circuit to apply on the trailer wiring and then draws it's power from the battery directly.

To install the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # C13316, on your 2017 BMW X3 there is underbody trimming required, but not fascia. There won't be anything trimmed that will be visible from the back of your vehicle. Installation does require temporary removal of bumper during installation, but there is no drilling required. Yes, we have exactly what you need. For this, you are going to want to use the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter part # C57187. This adapter is going to plug into the 4-way on your X5 and then the blue wire will splice into the reverse light circuit. This will then allow the brakes to release on your trailer while in reverse. This is one of the more difficult receivers to install as you will need to remove your rear bumper fascia to install the receiver. It will also require trimming of the gravel shield under rear of car (not fascia). Let's start with the Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 and the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver with Towing Kit # SH85VR that fits your 2017 BMW X5. The Rhino-Rack Nautic 581 Rear Loading Kayak Carrier # RR581 can fit onto any crossbar that has the top channel. It should have no issue fitting onto the Thule Wingbar EVO crossbar channel. I can see how you might think that but removing the nuts from the bumper attachment won't cause your bumper to fall off when you are installing Draw-Tite hitch # 24857 on your 2008 BMW 328xi.
If you take a look at the accompanying photo I added - which are from the instructions of the Curt # C11033 hitch but will be the same in terms of removing the nuts - you can see the studs will remain, holding up the body of the bumper.

For the 1/2 inch lug nut # 12CLN-L and the 14 inch aluminum wheels you will torque each lug nut to 75 to 85 foot pounds. No lubricant is required. However, since this is on a boat trailer and the hub studs are likely raw steel a little lube would help keep corrosion at bay. There isn't a specific product I would recommend since they all do about the same job.
