The newer brackets aren't currently sold separately but I've run into your situation a few times and have just placed the inner bracket on the t-molding instead of on the wall of the slide out. You'll want to get the lower holes in the bracket as close to the edge of the t-molding as possible so that the screws sit in the space between the slide out box and trailer wall.
