Hi Tom, welcome back! As far as I can tell that space is just too tight for the etrailer # e38FV. Even if you installed it sideways one of the screws would be inaccessible. We have at least one person who has used it in a similar space, but it looks like it is a larger opening than the one on the 2025 Model Y. For an option that will fit I recommend the Gen-Y # GY88XR. You can see this on another Gen-Y in the photo below.

I can help you figure out a replacement, but we have no way of knowing what wheel is on any specific trailer, and can't do anything with a VIN (as we don't have a database or anything to enter a VIN). I was able to find it had a 12 inch wheel though, so really all you need to know is your wheel bolt pattern, and then you can choose which wheel you want. It looks like there's a proprietary pigtail wire harness (p1072586) to connect to the factory plug behind the trim on the driver's side and the brake controller's wire harness. From what I can find some people say that it's included and should be found in the glove box and others state that Tesla's completely against giving them out to Model Y owners. Without knowing how much clearance you need from your hitch pin hole center to the rear of the bumper fascia I cannot know for sure which size will fit your 2021 Tesla Model Y. I do know on the Draw-Tite Receiver # DT58MR we found a 4" distance from the hitch pin center hole to the rear edge of the bumper.
