Hey Bill!

For your 2026 Tesla Model Y's 2" hitch and Thule bike rack, you can use Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - 2" Hitches - Chrome # C72KR. This lock has an overall length of 5-1/4", which is the shorter than the 6-1/2" Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2. This hitch pin does not have anti-rattle qualities that the Snug Tite lock has, so if you're needing that on your bike rack (which I recommend you do), you can pair it with our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2" Hitch Receivers # e38FV. I have one of these on my personal bike rack and it's increased my ride quality tremendously!

Thank you. Is the Curt hitch pin the same diameter as the Thule THSTL2?

@BillV The # THSTL2 is 1/2" diameter which is more of a universal size, while the C72KR is 5/8" and specific to 2" hitches. In most applications, either should work on a 2" bike rack but if you can send me the name, model number, or photo of your hitch, I can confirm whether or not this will fit.

@BillV The # C72KR will not work for this rack. The TowSmart Hitch Receiver Locking Pin w/Cap - 1/2" and 5/8" Diameter # TS24VR will work instead for you! This one is slightly longer at 5-1/2, but it will still be perfectly fine for your Model Y.
