Hey Peter,
We do have an option for a hitch and wiring kit for your 2024 Mercede-Benz GLE53 SUV, which is from Stealth Hitches:
- Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH24GR
The # SH24GR gets you everything in one part, coming with a receiver for an accessory like a bike rack, a ball mount for towing, and a complete 7-way wiring set up. This is a really cool setup that allows you to remove the rack or ball mount when you aren't using them so your Mercedes completely... view full answer...
From what I could find out, your 2018 Mercedes GLE 350 has a maximum towing capacity of 7,200 pounds. With that being said, the Curt # C13411 and the Draw-Tite # 76141 will not get all the way to your vehicle's max capacities, but will come very close. The 7,000 pound towing rating and the 700 pound tongue weight are accurate and will be what both of these hitches are rated up to. With your boat and trailer having a combined weight of 3,500 pounds, both of these will work perfectly.

Hey Randy, yes the issue is the power supplied to the running light circuit of your 7-way trailer wiring on your Mercedes which is causing the camera to not operate properly. What you need is the Furrion power adapter # FR87PR and you'd be set. This gives a stable power supply to allow the camera to work like it should. view full answer...
Hey Larry! I'm sorry to say the EcoHitch # EH55SR is not a fit for the AMG 53 Coupe models. The only compatible hitch is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH99MR. This also has a removable receiver and is designed to handle accessories up to 600 lbs. If you are planning on towing you need the # SH62TR which includes the towing kit. view full answer...

Hey Bryce. Since your 2016 Mercedes Benz GLE already has a 4-way connector you'll need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Mercedes with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle, like yours with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it. It includes all of the wiring, circuit breakers, and connectors you'll... view full answer...
Hey Blair, so the Inno Hitch Cargo Carrier part # IN94MR actually comes with a hitch lock built into it so you would not need to add one to it. How it works is that you use the knob that is in the hitch pin area to secure it to the hitch and then using the anti-rattle knob that is more towards the rear of the carrier you are pinning the carrier to the hitch tube. Since this knob is lockable it acts as the hitch lock since there would be no way to pull the carrier out once locked to the hitch. view full answer...
The first thing to check is to make sure that the sensitivity or output settings on your Curt Echo # C51180 did not change from your original settings.
It also may be beneficial to re-adjust the controller from scratch. In order to do this, Curt recommends performing the setup on a completely flat paved/concrete surface. At around 25 MPH, apply the vehicle's brakes. If the trailer brakes lock up or jerk/grab, decrease the max output level. Repeat this process until brakes are firm (just... view full answer...

Hey John, for your 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE with factory raised rails you can use the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711400 with the Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710401.

Hey Blair, so when the Thule Arcos # TH25YE is installed in the hitch of your vehicle it will sit right at about 25 inches above the hitch opening. This is probably going to block your rear license plate but if you wanted to move the plate to the rear of the box you can do that or what I have found using hitch cargo carriers is that basically nobody really cares if the plate is blocked. But that could be different in your area. view full answer...
If you fully load your trailer and find it has a tongue weight of 550 lbs and towing weight of 6,200 lbs, then ideally you should choose a weight distribution system's where your tongue weight sits middle-road of the system's capacity. As for a Fastway e2 option, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW - Round Bar # FA94-00-0800 is a good option.
This system has a described tongue weight capacity of 400 lbs - 800 lbs, and your 550 lbs is just slight below halfway on... view full answer...

According to the instructions for the Curt tester, the light marked 12V should be on constantly once you start the vehicle and perform a function test. Since this is not the case, we will assume the tester is functioning correctly
Make sure the 7-way connection on your vehicle is clean so it there is a good connection for the tester. You also want to inspect it and make sure there isn't any damage. In addition to these two things you can also check the fuse. Each function of a factory... view full answer...
