Hey Peter,
We do have an option for a hitch and wiring kit for your 2024 Mercede-Benz GLE53 SUV, which is from Stealth Hitches:
- Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH24GR
The # SH24GR gets you everything in one part, coming with a receiver for an accessory like a bike rack, a ball mount for towing, and a complete 7-way wiring set up. This is a really cool setup that allows you to remove the rack or ball mount when you aren't using them so your Mercedes completely... view full answer...
Hey Bryce. Since your 2016 Mercedes Benz GLE already has a 4-way connector you'll need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Mercedes with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle, like yours with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it. It includes all of the wiring, circuit breakers, and connectors you'll... view full answer...
Hey Joe, thanks for reaching out!
The only hitch options for your 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE AMG Line comes from Stealth Hitches, and they have 2 options:
- With Receiver # SH49MR
- With Towing Kit # SH57GR
Since you're needing this for towing a trailer you'll need to pick up the Towing Kit # SH57GR because it comes with wiring and a ball mount. Stealth Hitches has designed their system so that you need to use their specialty ball mounts for towing as opposed to a traditional receiver... view full answer...
Hey Blair, so when the Thule Arcos # TH25YE is installed in the hitch of your vehicle it will sit right at about 25 inches above the hitch opening. This is probably going to block your rear license plate but if you wanted to move the plate to the rear of the box you can do that or what I have found using hitch cargo carriers is that basically nobody really cares if the plate is blocked. But that could be different in your area. view full answer...
Hello again Mohan! First of all, the # TH24SA (903670) is designed for the Thule Verse bike racks. For your Thule Epos # TH99XE you need the Tail Light Kit and License Plate Holder for Thule Epos Bike Racks # TH79XE.
Also yes, the # 119250KIT will work with your 2025 GLE450 as well as the light kit. This is a universal 4-way so it really fits any vehicle. The Thule light kit uses a standard 4-way connection so you will be able to connect to the # 119250KIT on your vehicle to power the... view full answer...
Hey Ken! Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT75GR will fit your 2025 Mercedes GLE 450e PHEV. The additional battery and wiring won't interfere with the hitch installation. Do you plan on using it for towing? view full answer...
Hey Ro! The AMG Line body kit does interfere with the # DT75GR to a point it actually won't fit your vehicle. The only hitch that will fit is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH49MR. Are you using this the hitch for a bike rack? This hitch comes with a receiver for accessories and is rated up to 600 lbs.
If you plan on using it for towing you need the # SH57GR instead which comes with the towing kit. With the receiver/ball mount in place the hands free sensor will likely be... view full answer...
Hey Nick! I wouldn't be too concerned with tongue weight on either hitch. It looks like your 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE43 AMG Coup's tongue weight tops out at 500 lbs. Both the Curt item # C13294 and the Stealth Hitches item # SH25QR are going to exceed that capacity but you'll need to go off of the lowest number which is your AMG's 500 lbs.
Out of the two hitches, I recommend the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit item # SH25QR. You can't beat the cleanness of how... view full answer...
Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out!
The Inno Shaper 100 Roof Cargo Basket # INXA569, whether it's the used one or a new one, will fit in your 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE crossbars as long as the crossbar dimensions meet the specs in the instructions (see attached photo).
The used one we currently have in our site comes with all of the parts, per the listing, and any possible defects would be marring or scratches from where the hardware was previously installed.
Inno doesn't have a height restriction... view full answer...
I reached out to Draw-Tite to verify if there Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT75GR would fit on your 2020 Mercedes Benz GLE 350. I was told at this time they cannot confirm the fitment for either receiver and do not recommend trying to install it.
We do have the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH99MR which will allow you to carry a hitch mounted accessory with your GLE. If you need to also tow a trailer you will need to either add the Towing Kit # SH62MR or get the Receiver... view full answer...
Thanks for reaching out, Sean!
I've looked at some photos of the exhaust on your 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE53 and if the exhaust shoots directly behind your vehicle then I think you'll potentially see some issues since the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH99MR will sit just below the bumper and the Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR doesn't have much of a rise.
Some nicer vehicles have fake exhaust tips built into the bumper though, and another design I was seeing... view full answer...
Hi Kyle; for your 2024 Mercedes GLE AMG we have the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH99MR. This hitch has a bolt-on installation and a completely hidden design with a removable receiver. The receiver has a max tongue weight of 600 lbs and is designed for accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. If you are planning on towing you need the # SH62TR instead which comes with the towing kit. view full answer...
Hi Zm; the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Raised Rails # TH52ZA uses 53" crossbars which is what is recommended by Thule for your vehicle. If you already have 50" bars you can try to install them on your raised rails using the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401. If there is any overhang it won't be much. If they fall short you can always sell them and replace them with the 53" # TH711420. view full answer...
