Hey Jay, while the Stealth hitch part # SH46GR does come with trailer wiring for your 2016 Land Rover Range Rover it does not come with the Land Rover harness you mentioned that takes care of the parking sensors so you'd want to get that from a Land Rover dealer. What are you planning on towing? view full answer...
Hey Patrick,
We have one hitch available for that vehicle. The Stealth Hitch # SH46GR is a bolt on installation hitch for your Range Rover. This is going to be a solid hitch with a 8,000lb towing capacity and a 800lb tongue weight capacity. The great thing about Stealth Hitch it that it is completely invisible when not in use keeping your Rover looking clean when you don't need the hitch. I have attached a video of an installation on a newer Range Rover to give you a better idea of the... view full answer...
Hello Evan. We do offer one tow hitch for the 2016 Range Rover, the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # SH46GR. The stealth hitch is great because it has a removable receiver, so you can keep a nice clean factory look for the rear of your vehicle. The hitch itself is rated for towing up to 8,000 lbs so more than enough for your 4,000 lb trailer. This kit also includes the wiring harness custom fitted for your 2016 Range Rover. I have linked our install video for you below. view full answer...
Yes, it can Steve! We have talked to Curt before and their Echo Wireless Brake Controller item # C51180 can be mounted vertically!
What kind of trailer do you have? view full answer...
Hello Warren,
Thanks for writing in!
We do have universal trailer fenders and mounting brackets that may work for your Trailer in a Bag, but I wasn't able to verify a bolt-on fender kit designed specifically for that trailer. Since the original manufacturer is no longer in business, I would treat this as a custom installation rather than recommend a specific setup without taking a few measurements.
Our CE Smith fender brackets, such as # CE26061G-2 (which a lot of our customers use to... view full answer...
Hey Patrick! I would love to give you a quick yes but the best I can do is maybe and then show you what you need to look for. There is conflicting information on Tekonsha's website that says your 2016 Range Rover TD6 has the brake controller adapter port but I can tell you exactly where to look to find it.
I linked a diagram below that shows the wiring on your Range Rover. This will be at the base of the left side a-pillar or to the left of your left foot right before your driver's side... view full answer...
Hey Roman, we have a similar roof rack that does fit your 2001 Land Rover Range Rover with the Thule Wingbar part # TH62VA but the Yakima part # Y68UV is not listed as a fit and would not work. What will you be carrying with the roof rack? view full answer...
Since hitch extenders like the 11" Roadmaster # RM-071 you show in your pictures reduces the weight rating of the hitch by 50% we typically recommend avoiding them as a solution. For your application we have ball mounts with extended shanks that don't reduce the weight capacity of your hitch and that's what I recommend going with.
For a long ball mount we have the Brophy Ball Mount # BM20 which has a 3/4" rise/2" drop and measures 13-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to center... view full answer...
Hey Enrique, thanks for reaching out!
I love the look of the Stealth Hitches design, but one downfall is definitely how restrictive the ball mount choices are. The ball mount that comes with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH46GR is the lowest available for it as Stealth Hitches only has the flat ones and ones with a rise - none of them have a drop.
Is there any way to adjust the coupler on your trailer? view full answer...
I have an option that may work for you, but we do not have a ball mount with 4" rise, a 1-1/4" shank hole, and is 13" - 14-1/2" long.
The closest option we have is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 12" Long - 12,000 lbs # 4285 which is 12" long and has a 3" rise. For this option you would use 2-5/16" hitch ball # BWHB94003 which has a 3-1/4" long shank and has a 1" rise to get you back up to 4" total rise.
If your new trailer is under 6000lbs I recommend is... view full answer...
Hey Nicholas, due to the universal nature of the Tekonsha ZCI kit part # 119250KIT it can basically fit any vehicle including your 2008 Land Rover Range Rover HSE. You have a hitch currently, correct? view full answer...
To replace your Lippert electric RV stabilizer I suggest their latest model # LC298707 which offers faster operation and lighter weight than many older models. This single-motor unit extends up to 30-inches and it should match the existing mounting holes on your RV that has a Lippert stabilizer installed. I checked Lippert's website for your part number but it showed no results. view full answer...
Hey Nat, the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 that you referenced will work in basically any position as it's internal inertia sensor does not have orientation limitations so it will work if pointed down. view full answer...
Hey Jim for your 2008 Land Rover Range Rover the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED96CR would be a really great option. To install it all you need is the part # ETBC7 which will convert your 4-way to a 7-way and comes with everything needed to install the brake controller. I really like the Redarc because it only puts a small knob on the dash and performs really well. view full answer...
Hey Cord, I am not totally sure what you mean by full size roof rack for your 2008 Land Rover Range Rover but in case you mean a three crossbar setup we have the Rhino Rack roof rack part number # RR34FR25GR. Is that what you meant or were you thinking something different? view full answer...
The trailer hitch that fits your Supercharged 2015 Land Rover Range Rover comes from Stealth Hitches and is available in 2 different variations:
- With Accessory Receiver Only # SH49GR
- With Accessory Receiver and Towing Kit # SH46GR
I really like this system because it gives you a complete factory look when you remove the receiver/ball mount when you aren't utilizing the hitch. We had the opportunity to install the option that includes the towing kit on a 2019 Supercharged Range Rover... view full answer...
Hello Brad. We do have a potential wiring solution for your 2008 Range Rover. Unfortunately we do not carry an equivalent of the YWJ500480 wiring harness that you mentioned. That appears to be a custom fit OEM harness, and our wiring kit would be a much more universal application.
Our wiring solution would be to use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 along with the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This will include everything you need... view full answer...
I took a look at the instructions for the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH49GR, that fits your 2020 Range Rover. It does not require any trimming to install. I have attached the instructions below along with a screenshot where they explain what in this case doesn't need to be trimmed.
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH49GR is only for using accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. If you plan on towing you will want the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer... view full answer...
Hi Jim,
Since you can't use a weight distribution hitch and don't want to drill through the aluminum frame I recommend attaching the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control # C94VV to a board and using some U-bolts to clamp the board to the frame. Once mounted you'll just need to plug your trailer's 7-way cable into it and use the True Course 7-way cable to plug into your Range Rover.
You will not be able to use any sort of friction sway control without drilling into... view full answer...
When using the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9025XT with ladie's and children's bikes I highly recommend using the Thule Bike Adapter Bar part # TH982XT. While it may be possible to get them on the rack without the adapters it will be much more difficult for your daughter to load them up and the bikes will be sitting at very weird angles. I would go with them to save her trouble in the loading so they will enjoy using it more.
As far as the rack goes it is really nice and easy to... view full answer...
