It seems like you have fenders on that bike. You will have to remove the fender so the hook makes contact with the tire. Since your 2022 Ford Escape doesn't have the tow package and it has LED's you have no other option than to use a wiring harness that requires a power wire ran to the battery. The LED wiring harnesses are to small to splice into and you can't use anything without a power module because of the LEDs.
