Hey Dave,
Thanks for the photo, and while I can't post it I can tell you exactly what was used there for the mounting on the crossbars, and that was the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories # Y03590.
Just keep in mind the crossbars on your 2015 Chrysler Town and Country can only be up to 4" wide and 1-1/2" tall to work with the ARB Universal Awning Bracket # ARB57FR.
We've also never tried this so I need to mention I don't know for certain if this will work for... view full answer...
A longer ball mount would be a decent idea I would think but since its going to be a Class II 1-1/4 inch ball there aren't super long options. Mostly everything will be about same length with some variations. If you can determine the rise/drop you need I can let you know what longest option would be. view full answer...
Hey Dave, it's great to hear from you again!
The CE Smith U-Bolt - Zinc-Plated Steel - 3" Long x 3-1/8" Wide x 7/16" Diameter # CE15252A you were looking at could work for if the dimensions match what you currently have. You won't get any galvanic corrosion by mixing those materials - it really only happens with aluminum.
If you can let me know the dimensions of your current U-Bolts I can see if we have something that's the same for you. view full answer...
On a Class I or II 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch you will need to use a 1/2 inch hitch lock such as # e98879. This lock has a 2 inch span which is the usable length of the pin. I have included a link to a video review for you.
For a Class III or IV 2 inch trailer hitch as well as Class V 2-1/2 inch trailer hitches you will need to use a 5/8 inch diameter pin such as # e98881 which has a span of 3-5/8 inches. I have included a link to a video review of this lock as well. view full answer...
Yes, the CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons part # CE27610 will fit your EZ Loader boat trailer. The brackets work with trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall so your 1-1/2" wide x 4" tall frame will not be an issue. I have attached a sample install video for you as well. view full answer...

To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
There are a few figures to look first. Your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country owner's manual shows that the maximum towing capacity of the vehicle is 3,600 pounds with 2 people and luggage and the tongue weight... view full answer...
The cause of your blown fuse is most likely a wiring issue. The power wire that leads from the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56331 to the vehicle's battery will need to be inspected. If you like, you can just replace this wire with part # 10-1-1. This would be the main cause of the in-line fuse blowing but it could also be attributed to a short on another circuit as well so it will be best to check all of the wiring that relates to the trailer lights on both the vehicle... view full answer...
We have a few transmission coolers that are designed to fit your 2010 Chrysler Town And Country.
The Derale Transmission Cooler, part # D13502 is a plate-fin cooler that may be just what you are looking for. The biggest concern when installing coolers is the location and whether there is room for the installation. This cooler measures 11 inches wide x 7-1/4 inches tall x 7/8 inch deep. I have attached a drawing that shows the best location to mount a cooler.
I have attached links to a... view full answer...
You are correct that you can use a 2-to-3 converter, the Curt # C56196, to separate the combined circuits on your 2009 Chrysler Town and Country so your brake lights and turn signals will operate independently of one another.
In regards to Diodes # 48955, you should use them to prevent backfeeding. I have added links to video reviews of the converter and diodes for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13364 will accommodate your spare tire on your 2016 Chrysler Town and Country no problem. This is actually designed to fit around Stow-N-Go seats so you should have plenty of room!
Attached is an installation video on a similar 2016 Town and Country that you can check out. If you let me know what you plan on using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations as necessary. view full answer...
You can use trailer wiring harness # 22121 to add a 7-Way to your 2011 Chrysler Town and Country that did not come with a factory 7-Way or tow package. If you also need a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
All vehicles with automatic transmissions have some type of cooler. It is usually built into the radiator. However factory coolers are adequate at best for cooling transmission fluid so if you are towing then it would... view full answer...
Good to hear from you again, Dave!
Any etrailer stickers on the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80720 will be removable and leave no trace that they were there. Odds are you won't have any etrailer stickers on the mirrors you receive for your 2012 Chrysler Town and Country though because we only put them on for photos and videos to make it harder for people to steal our content and pass it off as their own.
The wording at the bottom of each mirror has the standard "objects... view full answer...
The Tekonsha OEM Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22121 that you referenced includes all the wiring and parts necessary to install a fully functional 7-Way connector and trailer brake controller.
The included brake controller harness is compatible with and will plug into the Brake EVN # TK63VR that you also mentioned. The other end of the brake controller harness will need to be hardwired to your Town and Country. I have attached the complete installation instructions on this kit that you can... view full answer...
Converters are required when a vehicle has what is called a 3-wire or separate lighting system. These systems will have turn signal circuits that are separate from the brake light circuits.
Trailers use a 2-wire or combined system meaning the brake lights and turn signals are on the same circuit.
A converter is needed to take the separate signals from the vehicle and combine them so that the trailer lights operating on a combined system will work properly. Wires and fuses connected directly... view full answer...
Thank you for the pictures!
We do offer a trailer brake option that will work with the 10" wheels on your 2014 Shorelander Trailer.
Since the trailer will be in water you will want to use the Dexter Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit # 23-398-399 which includes both left and right assemblies and is for hydraulic brakes and will bolt the 4 bolt brake flange found on your axles that I was able to see in your picture.
Since you have 5 lug wheels you will likely need Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly... view full answer...

Trimming the fascia of your 2012 Chrysler Town and Country for the install of the Curt hitch part # C12264 will require you to lower the hitch to access the fascia. I know that's what you were wanting to avoid but it will be easier than trying to trim the fascia with the hitch installed. It also will allow you to do a much better job that will look nicer and more professional. I'd use a utility knife for this. view full answer...
So the Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack # STC-V211 uses brackets to mount to the side of a trailer frame.
For a trailer jack that uses the same style of topwind handle and mounting brackets we have the Round Snap Ring Swivel Jack w/ Footplate # TJBB-2001-B which would work well. view full answer...
Sounds like the ground wire is your issue. But first did you check to make sure there's a good fuse in the fuse holder of the # 118552? It's pretty easy to forget that.
But for the ground strap you need to have it connected to a metal surface that comes into contact with the vehicle frame in order for it to ground properly. I am not exactly sure where you have it now but it sounds like it's not attached to a metal surface. view full answer...
