Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the front and rear set of 16 1/2" Namsco wheel covers for eight lug wheels, and it is for a quantity of four covers. These replacement wheel covers will fit over the front and rear wheels on your vehicle. You can see they are a nice, low profile design; delivers a nice, sleek look. They're 304 stainless steel construction, which is very sturdy and rustproof. They do have a nice mirror finish on them; it gives you a nice, eye-catching shine to your wheel.
These are described as an eight inaudible 00:00:33 design, and what they're talking about is these holes that go around the outer edge, there's eight of them, so they call that an eight inaudible 00:00:39 design. The lug caps right on here, they can be removed. They're held on by four tabs, but you can just pop those out if you need to access your lug nuts. This does use a snap-in retention system to ensure the hub cap won't wobble or fall off. There's no hardware required. I wanted to zoom in and show you what we're talking about.
If you look at the retention system on that, it's designed to push onto your steel wheel and hold it into place. One thing I do want to mention, one note; when you do go to install this, you do want to look out, when you go to install these, for this cutout, and the reason they put this cutout on here is because that'll line up with your valve stem on your wheel. What you'll do is line this up where your valve stem is, and then push this completely onto your steel wheel so it goes as far as it can. That cutout is to keep you from damaging your valve stem. This is for a quantity of four wheel covers. The application, again, is eight lug front and rear wheels.
Wheel diameter this fits on is 16 1/2". Now, a couple of notes on these wheel covers. These do not fit the Budd wheels or the older split rims; both of those wheels are older designs. The Budd wheels are the stud piloted wheels that have tapered stud holes, and they use lug nuts with a matching taper. The split rim design wheels are the older design wheels that have a split ring that goes around the wheel that holds the tire to the wheel in case of a blowout.
Again, both of those designs are older designs you don't see much of anymore, but these will not work on those. These will work on all the other ones, though. That should do it for the review on these front and rear set of 16 1/2" Namsco wheel covers for eight lug wheels.
