Hey guys, it's Jake here with the etrailer. Today, we have the bulldog winch seven piece rigging set. What this is going to do is it's going to give you all the necessary tools to be able to use a winch, to get yourself out of a bind when your truck or UTV is stuck. The kit is going to come with a 20 foot recovery strap, a six foot tree strap, two, three quarter inch steel shackles, a nice large snatch block, a pair of gloves and a storage bag to store it all in. Now let's go ahead and look at each component in use and how they're going to work together. We're going to start with our tree strap and the shackle.
If you can get the tree up around the tree twice, you can go ahead and do that, but we can only reach once. So we'll put it like so, and then we need to unscrew our pin out of our shackle and then place it inside our tree strap loops. Looping both of them through to hold it in place. Now your next step is you're going to want to pull your winch out to your hookup location, where you strapped to the tree. This is when you would hook your winch hook up to your shackle and then begin pulling. But if you need a higher pull strength, that's larger than your winch.
For example, ours is 6,000 pounds. If you need a higher pull, shrink to have, you really got your UTV or truck stuck, and you need to pull harder, you can use this snatch block and it's showing to you utilize that pulley to double the pulling shrink. For example, we'll go ahead and show you how to hook this up. You need to start by removing your pin on your shackle And you'll insert one side of your snatch block, run your cable through, and then bring the other side of the snatch block up, locking that cord in there, and you'll take your pin. And reinserted then we'll chill do is you'll continue to free spool your hook back to your UTV or truckAnd then once you get your hook back to your UTV, you want to find a connection point here.
We have a nice steel bar on our front bumper that we can hook to. Once you have everything safely secured on the front of your rig, you can put your vehicle in neutral, take it out of park and start winching. See what the use of that snatch block it's effortlessly pulling our ranger crew up this Hill. The snatch block is going to have a nice heavy duty steel construction. So it's going to hold up to the strength that you're going to need to be able to pull something out.
It's going to have a 17,000 pound weight capacity and a 7,000 pound safe working load. The max wire or core diameter that you can use with this snatch block is going to be three eighths of an inch wide. Now, one thing I really liked that bulldog winch included was a greaser on the side of our snatch block. This is going to make it easy for us to take care of and maintain our snatch block so that it's in good working condition. Each time we need to use it, this is nice large opening, and the end is going to make it compatible for many different size shackles that you might already have. The shackles included are going to be a three quarter inch high strength, steel shackle that are going to work great for any strap attachments like we have here in order to be able to hook up your hook from your winch. It's going to have a break strength of 57,000 pounds and a safe working load limit of 9,500 pounds. The tree strap is going to be a woven polyester strap. That's going to have a break strength of 30,000 pounds and a safe workload limit of 10,000 pounds. And what I like about this is it's going to be a nice wide three and strap, and it's going to be six feet long. So you're going to be able to fit it around a wide variety of trees without harming them. The reinforced ends on the strap are going to ensure that it has a nice strong hold while you're using it. And it lasts over time with your recovery strap. You're going to have 20 feet length. So that should be more than enough length to be able to get yourself out of a bind. There'll be two inches in diameter and be made out of a woven polyester material and be nice and bright and blue in color so that you can see it to get it in a place you want to just loop it around, either your ball Mount or your hitch to where it's not going to come on done. And then you want to take the other end and loop it to a tow vehicle or the vehicle that stuck that you might be pulling out. This recovery strap is going to have a 20,000 pound break limit and a 6,700 pound safe working load limit. It's also going to have these nice reinforced ends, just like your tree strap, to be able to hold up over time and give you a nice strong hold. Now, what I like about this storage bag is it you're going to have more than enough room to be able to store all your straps and your shackles and your snatch blocks in there so that you know where everything is and it's all in one place. Well, guys, with all that being said, I hope that information helped you, but that's going to do it for a look at the bulldog winch seven piece rigging kit..
