Wiring a trailer doesn’t need to mean cutting into your factory wiring. This Curt T-Connector harness plugs right into your vehicle’s existing connectors and gives you a 4-pole flat trailer plug. No splicing, no guesswork—just plug it in and go.
The harness installs out of sight using the vehicle’s built-in connectors, so everything stays clean and protected. You get a solid trailer wiring setup without disturbing your factory system. Once it’s in, the connector tucks away when not in use.
A built-in powered converter keeps your vehicle’s electronics safe while delivering the right power for your trailer lights. It supplies clean signals for running lights, turn signals, and brake lights, so your trailer lighting works every time you hook up.
Even if your vehicle didn’t come with a factory tow package, this harness gives you a simple way to add trailer wiring. It includes everything needed for a complete 4-flat connection, letting you tow confidently with the lights working like they should.

Harness itself is great fit for the Land Rover discovery. However, it’s NOT an easy quick installation it’s a lot of removing of the panels to say the least ...not fun at all.
The system works well. Installation is overly complicated for no reason. The foam blocks mention in the video are notoriously difficult to move (good on Land Rover for making it dust tight) so running the cables under and around the frame is a major hassle. I ran the green connector wire through the inside easily hidden under the felt trim work. Just drill a small hole along with the ground screw and put a rubber grommet and pull wire through. Also, the power wire to the battery is very excessive. It's fused to 10A which is overkill unless you are pulling a large trailer with lots of side marker lights. The power distribution panel in the driver rear shown in the video will have plenty of empty fuse locations. Use a fuse tap found at local auto parts or big named online retailer and just pull power locally. Fuse to a lower value if you want. Both these items save significant install time. The information provided is suggestions only, please perform all work safely.
