Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Pacbrake Alpha XD Pro Rear Axle Airbag Suspension Kit with internal jounce bumpers. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2001 to 2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 3,500 HDs, both with the two wheel or a four wheel drive. I do wanna point out that this kit has not been designed to fit your Cabin Chassis trucks. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So, as you know, when the load gets heavy, your truck is going to need more than just those rear springs hanging on for dear life. These airbags are going to add up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your truck level and steady even when the trailer is loaded. The bed is packed and the miles are long. So no more rear end sag is going to be throwing off your braking or steering, or your headlights.

They're gonna be pointing at a level as they should be and not up in the sky because of a heavy load that's bogging you down in the back. Now, bottoming out doesn't just feel rough, it can wreck your airbags. That's why this system includes internal jounce bumpers inside each bag. So even when there's no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. You can safely run at zero PSI when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory style ride.

Of course, as you know, each haul is different. That's why these air springs are gonna give you full control over ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from five to 100 PSI. So hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel isn't going to be a problem for you because you're gonna be able to crank up the pressure. And then if you're unloaded and heading home, you can just drop it back down for a softer ride. So with the manual inflation valves included, tuning your suspension for the the day's work is gonna be very easy, very straightforward.

Now, airbags are only as strong as their weakest link. That's why these airbags are reinforced all the way through with heavy duty end caps, 20 internal support wires, integrated jounce bumpers, and these powder coated custom fit steel brackets. And then when you include this corrosion resistant hardware and then these thick roll plates at the top and the bottom, you've got a system that's gonna hold up really well against real world hauling through heat, cold, salt, and just slop in general. Speaking of these brackets, these are precision laser cut brackets. They're designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points without welding, which is great, or drilling to your frame, which is great, again, with the included hardware. And as you can see, I do have them kind of loosely assembled here just to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like when it's installed and mounted on your truck. And the brackets do have a really nice, one of the best powder coat finishes I've seen for airbag custom fit brackets. So just high quality overall. And even the bags themself, it's really high quality materials, higher quality than a lot of other competitors that I have seen in the past. So I'm very impressed with the quality and the fit and finish of this kit. So this kit will be designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. You're gonna, again, as I mentioned, be able to inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box. No extra parts are gonna be needed, but if you already have an on onboard compressor, this system is going to connect easily to most existing setups. And then if you're planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road, that's not gonna be an issue. The foundation's gonna already be built in, making it easy to expand your control options when you are ready. So like I said, this is going to give you load support up to 7,500 pounds. But I do wanna point out that these airbags do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity, So you do wanna make sure that you follow your manufacturer's recommended weight limits on your truck, and you wanna make sure that you don't exceed that.
