SuperCoils installed on snow plow

Bumper guards, grille guards, brush guards, snowplow attachments and winches can cause front-end sag as your factory suspension compresses under weighty loads. This means that the front axle is trying to support not only the equipment but also the truck's weight. An unevenly distributed load puts less weight on your back tires, leading to trouble with traction, steering and braking. These beefy coils replace your OEM coil springs to help your front end bear up under the load, evening out the weight. They help to lift the front end and to keep your headlights level, making driving easier and safer.

SuperCoils are a maintenance-free solution to the sagging caused by heavy front-end equipment and armor plating.

Video Transcript for Review of SuperSprings Intl Vehicle Suspension - SuperCoils Front Axle Suspension Coils - SSC-30

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at the SuperCoils Front Axle Custom Suspension Coils. Now, for these coils, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm if these coils will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. These coils will fit numerous different types of vehicles, so you do want to be sure to confirm the fit that you are looking for with our Vehicle Fit Guide.

Now, these heavy duty coil springs are going to replace your front OEM coil springs for better suspension support by reducing the front end sag caused by heavy equipment, helping to lift your vehicle and to level your headlights for easier, safer driving. These are also gonna reduce the wear and tear on your vehicle's factory suspension and tires. And these springs maintain your vehicle's stock ride height and they're designed to work with a suspension system that is in good working order. So these springs are gonna be great for trucks with bumper guards, grill guards, brush guards, snow plows, winches, and armored platting, vehicles that have a lot of weight that they're dealing with up at the front end. Now these are made here in the USA and these do have a weight capacity of 3,935 pounds.

However, SuperCoils will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So you do wanna make sure that you're not exceeding the manufacturer's weight limit for your particular vehicle. These will be maintenance-free, it's going to be a a fit it and forget it installation. However, these should be installed by a qualified installer or technician, and instructions are included to guide through that installation process. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today.

I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

Great service and delivery time. I installed these front coil springs in my 99 ford diesel Superduty. After years of the old springs sagging and the ride quality degraded, the new springs picked the front end back up and now the truck drive wonderfully. These springs work with or without ranch bumper. I will return.

The SSC-30 is for 2WD models. For a 2WD version, you have two options, either the SSC-30 for 3,395 pound capacity or SSC-31 for a 5,000 pound capacity. For a 4WD version, the part is SSC-33 with a 3,750 pound capacity.

Jeff, did you get a 1.5 inch lift from the supercoils or do you think they just brought your front end back to stock ride height? Did you upgrade yout shocks as well with a longer shock? Thanks

Lee, The springs worked great. I complimented them with standard length Bilstien shocks and made it ride even better while setting the front end back up to stock height. If you have a heavy aftermarket front bumpergrill guard or snow plow then I would probably get the heavier duty 5000lbs springs.

I installed the ssc-30 springs on my 96f350 2wd to replace my old worn out factory springs. The bottom on the coil was too big for the bottom hold down retainer plate, so I had to make a new oversized retainer. Then the springs picked the truck up so much that with 4°camber bushings, i was still 3° out. After installing a 2in pivot bracket drop, I think I finally got it right. I love the way it looks, but I didn't expect it take so much to get it right

These springs are awesome!! Before iinstalled the new heavy duty front coil springs, the front of my truck used to sag and bottom out constantly.
Now it sits level, rolls less in turns, brake dip is almost non existent.
It never bottoms out any more, these springs are excellent!

I wanted to beef up my 97 Dodge 2500, to be able to carry two bikes on the front of my Ranch bumper. Also have a Northen Lite camper. Helps maintain weight control. The springs make a huge difference in the way the truck handles, especially when driving over bad roads.

Cannot say excellent yet haven’t installed them yet. Your service and communication with me was great, appreciated being notified every step of the way. Happy holidays,I’ll send pics before and after installation

Great customer service. Great website and informational. Stabilized a 1500 with a heavy lift gate. Kept us from buying a 2500 at this time.

by:

Awsome coil springs gave my truck great height and rides like new again.

by:

I had old ones before and didn’t realize how bad my rv needed new ones. Can’t begin to express the importance of having good quality parts on your coach. Highly recommend.

by:

Barely raised the front end. Exactly what I was looking for. They feel amazing.

See what our Experts say about this SuperSprings Intl Vehicle Suspension

  • Is an Alignment Needed After Installing Coil Springs
The rear of your truck should only be raised while the airbags are inflated and the vehicle is unloaded. Once the vehicle is then loaded, the airbags should drop back down to stock ride height. If the rear of the truck is higher than stock while the vehicle is unloaded and the bags are deflated, then the airbags may have been installed incorrectly. I would clarify this before moving forward. After installing a set of coil spring on your truck you will indeed need to do an alignment. However...

  • How to Lift the Front of an RV on a 2010 Ford F-350 Chassis
I do have an option to help you lift the front of your RV on a 2010 Ford F-350 chassis but nothing for the rear. For the front, I recommend using the SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils part # SSC-30. The SuperCoils will lift the front of your E-350 approximately 2". They have a 3,395 lbs weight capacity and come with a 3 year warranty. None of the SumoSprings would raise the ride height of the vehicle. For the rear you would want to look into a lift block that go between the leaf spring...

  • Front Springs for 2024 Ford F-350 that will Raise Ride Height with Plow
We have one option for your 2024 Ford F-350 front suspension with the SuperCoils part # SSC-30 but this only fits the diesel models. This is a heavier spring that would lift the front suspension 1 inch. If you don't have a diesel we don't have anything that would fit.

  • Recommended SuperCoils for a 1996 Ford F-250 with 7.3L Diesel Engine
For your 1996 Ford F-250, I would recommend using the SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils part # SSC-30, not part # SSC-31. The reason for this is because the part # SSC-31 is designed for commercial vehicles and as you mentioned would create a very stiff ride if used on your truck. I am not sure I understand what you are referring to as "sac-40’s" but either coil spring is not designed to raise the truck from stock ride height. In order to do this you would need to obtain some sort of lift/leveling...

  • Suspension Enhancement Needed for 2010 Ford E-150
The SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils # SSC-30 fits the larger E-250 and E-350 vans but it isn't compatible with your 2010 Ford E-150. For your application I recommend the SumoSprings # SSF-106-47 as well as the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1125F. These install in your OEM coil springs and also replace the bump stop on your van. They don't require any maintenance either so once they are installed you don't have to mess with them anymore. I have attached some review videos and written instructions...
