Say goodbye to quick, military-style showers, refilling your tank, and waiting for the hot water to recover. This revolutionary design replaces your outdated tank heater and gives you the luxury of taking back-to-back showers, washing dishes, and running a load of laundry all at once. Unlike traditional tank heaters that require constant energy to keep your water hot, this tankless, propane-fueled water heater only uses energy when you turn on your faucet or shower, providing the ultimate efficiency at a campground or off-the-grid. The endless, on-demand hot water has no recovery time and is perfect if you're on the road full-time or traveling with a large group.
Has your warm and relaxing shower ever been interrupted by a cruel burst of ice-cold water? Perhaps you've been the victim of a scorching surge of hot water that scalds you and sends you dancing out of harm's way. Either way, it's the worst, but those days are over. Furrion's vortex technology is designed to eliminate those dreaded hot and cold water fluctuations by consistently mixing hot and cold water together to reach your desired temperature, ensuring those warm, comfortable showers.
This state-of-the-art technology is equipped with built-in safety measures to ensure you, your family, and your RV stay out of harm's way.
Its dual temperature sensors automatically shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 F, preventing the unit from overheating while also reducing the risk of hot water scalding. The unit also has a flame monitoring feature that cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out to prevent gas from leaking inside your RV and a built-in safety valve that allows pressure to vent at 87 psi to prevent excess pressure and heat build-up.

Perfect for full-time RVers or large groups.Outstanding water heater, it was a bit smaller so I had to take some 2x4s and 3/4 plywood to fill the gaps. Just to be clear on the installation I ran new wires to the battery with a fuse to be sure it it would have a full 12 volts. By getting this water heater we gained a 15 amp circuit, that I we will use for a dedicated plug for our pellet smoker. Sure is great to have hot water after a week with out.
Installed as a replacement for an old 6 gallon Atwood; huge improvement. Way less wasted gas and it could not be easier to set the desired heat.
The install was fairly straightforward, although the orientation of the inlet/outlet was different enough from the old unit that I had to redo the water lines. The sheet metal screws on the bottom also protrude beyond the bottom of the unit and I ended up shaving down the linoleum to get it to fit.
Just got it installed on 1-19-21 and it has worked flawlessly so far. Have to use the cold water to adjust temp as it 's flowing until you find the happy medium, but love it. Should have done it years ago. No more 5 minute showers and waiting for hot water to recirc for clothes washer.

This water heater was a great choice. It provides all the hot water a person wants while taking a shower or whatever you want. I removed my old 6-gallon water heater and installed this water heater myself. It only took a couple of hours to install. I purchased two flex water lines from Home Depot to hook up the water lines. I did this so I would not have to cut and reroute the existing water lines. The gas line was long enough to where I could screw it onto the water heater. I installed the thermostat on the bathroom wall. It took me about an hour to install. I placed it near the shower so it would be easy to control.
We were constantly running out of hot water with the 6-gallon tank. With this tankless heater my wife can take a "wonderful" shower and I don't get yelled at because she ran out of hot water. We used it all s
last summer almost every weekend and a several weeks.
The only problem I have had is that when we use the shower handheld shower head when taking a shower and reduce the water flow, the water heater shuts off. Then when the hot water flow is restarted, there will be a rush of cooler water. That causes a little problem. When this happens it's nice that the hot water returns within seconds.
Overall, we have had no major problems using the water heater. It works very well. I have had people tell me that this tankless water heater uses more gas than the 6-gallon water heater, but I have not seen that.
Over all it's a great product.

5 stars for etrailer and Will specifically. The first unit we got was a lemon. After replacing the motherboard that furrion sent us under warranty it still wasn’t working properly. Contacting furrion was pointless. They didn’t have any replacements in stock so with them we were out of luck. Thank God we purchased from etrailer! Will (who is literally the best customer service rep I’ve ever dealt with from any company) helped us out immediately. He sent us a replacement almost overnight along with a prepaid shipping return label for the lemon. This new one worked like a champ.
The few cons I will say I’ve encountered with this water heater... sometimes it has a mind of its own and the temperature will just climb all the way up to 124 and then come back down even though it’s set at 95. I have no idea why it does this, fortunately it doesn’t happen very often. I cannot get a lukewarm shower very easily, if I turn on the cold water to cool it off it either makes the hot water heat up more to compensate or completely turns off the hot water. That’s kinda annoying. Sometimes it won’t even do 95, it starts at like 102 or higher, I’m thinking it’s bc it’s summer and the ground water is just too warm? Idk but that’s kinda frustrating too. Sometimes it’s hot out and you don’t want a hot shower but not a freezing one either, somewhere in the middle is ideal and on those days it’s hard to get the right temperature. Another issue is a design flaw so that when It rains, water gets in the exhaust hole and it will prevent the water heater from turning on. My husband put duct tape over it to create a flap which looks [bad] but works well. Haven’t had a problem since. Furrion would do well to create a flap for the exhaust hole to prevent this issue. Other than that, it does heat on demand as it should and keeps the temperature well. I love having endless hot water in the shower, especially since we have multiple people showering daily. Because it works on low pressure we have no need to install a separate pressure regulator as many have to do with the other brands available. We’ve never had an issue with it working no matter what water pressure we have.
Overall I would definitely recommend this one. It can operate on lower pressure than the other ones out there and is more powerful. The control monitor is perfect too. We placed ours in the bathroom by the shower since we knew that would be the only time We’d want to adjust the water temp. It works well, has advantages over the others on the market and is a little cheaper to boot.

Heats great but use CAUTION WHEN WINTERIZING!!!!!
I loved this upgrade when I put it in last season only to learn a very expensive lesson. This air-purge method of winterizing did NOT work with this water heater, which I have used for 20 years and 6 other travel trailers (all tank water heaters). My routine is to always gravity-drain the system and water heater first, then air-purge hot and cold lines multiple times with multiple configurations of faucets open and closed. Somehow, water was still retained in the heater and something inside froze and burst. User-error somewhere on my part, I'm sure, but again, never had an issue in decades of RV ownership. However, I do have a gripe on the manufacturing that the metal housing/enclosure was NOT sealed properly. The water leak should have all been contained inside the housing and drained to the outside of the RV but there was a considerable amount of leakage to the inside of the RV.

I was totally impressed with the extremely strong shipping box, wow.
Since I had repeatedly measured the original space before ordering, the unit fit perfectly as did the door. I had to upgrade a small section of the plumbing (been there since 1987) with 1/2" pex & shark bite. The unit installed with ease. Followed the instructions for installation, checking for leaks, connecting the water & LP gas lines. No leaks anywhere.
The unit has about a 1 or 2 second lag time for ignition, which is shorter than the unit I have had on at home for 4 years now.
Thanks you for the wonderful service and the great product.

Best product we have bought for our Travel Trailer.
Gone are the days of trying to hold my eyes open at the firepit, setting a timer for 15 minutes so the next person can get a warm 6 gallon shower. Gone are the days where I had to pre-heat the water heater because the old 6 gallon water hadn't hit it's minimum temperature limit to re-fire, causing a luke warm shower. Gone are they days of a crabby wife telling me she had 1 minute of hot water and me trying (again) to explain how the faucet handles twist differently than at home.
I only had two issues installing.
1 - please be careful not to kink your LP soft copper hose. My 6 gallon LP connection was on outside of the camper and the new tankless was on the back of the unit. I had to make a big sweep to get it connect. I did kink it and I had to work out the kink.
2 - it wouldn't hurt to send a few feet of 1" butyl gasket with the new tankless water heater. My family does HVAC and I didn't feel like driving to the office to get butyl so I went to the hardware store. The only thing the hardware store had was 1/4" or 3/8" butyl for metal roofs. I put a few layers of the butyl between the frame and the camper exterior. Let me just say I wish I had gone to the office for the 1". After we got some water under the bunks from a rainstorm, I reinstalled the tankless using the 1" butyl.

I began this tankless water heater replacement because my OEM tankless has never worked correctly. Once I saw the newer generation models included a quick adjust thermostat I decided to make a swap. I decided on the Furrion due to the rear mounted, “mixing chamber.” None of the doors were a direct fit so I sent a question to etrailer and got, I think, an automated answer that really did not answer my question. Upon ordering the unit I wanted, I was told it was out of stock. I was informed an alternate was available. I took the alternate and it promptly came. Installation was straight forward with some minor fabrication necessary for the door to look good. The Furrion looks very well made and assuming it continues to work I will continue to be satisfied.
Will I order from etrailer again? As of right now, I am sure I will.

Best rv upgrade ever! We live in our 5th wheel full time while I build our pole barn house. It's been slow going, but having endless hot water has helped so much with morale. Easy DiY installation, and great product.

Great water heater! Etrailer did a fantastic job when the first unit I ordered was defective. They got a new one to me in a timely way.

Loved the speed of replacement unit arrival! Worked like a charm. Old unit was damaged due to bad winterization. Unscrewed the screws of the previous unit (same brand/model). Slid out the old. unhooked the 4 wires (2 for thermostat, and 2 for 12v electrical). Unscrewed the hot/cold water hoses, along with gas hose. Reverse process putting new replacement unit back in. Caulked around the metal door frame. Voila! Done! About 1 hour to remove. And about 1 - 2 hours to install new and test it (before sliding it all back in place....Braced it on a short ladder when testing for leaks and functionality).

We received this unit with a damaged box and it had been taken out before. It was also missing the wall controller for the unit. We were able to get it replaced and the new one worked well. E-trailer required us to call Lippert. Lippert bought out Furrion and they did not call us back to do troubleshooting. E-trailer was able to just return the product.

Originally I went round and round trying to get the original account representative on the phone at e-trailer. it wasn’t until I contacted customer service, very frustrated I couldn’t get my account representative on the phone, Ms Edith was very sympathetic to my situation and my frustration. She took over assisting me in getting my order and within a couple of days it appeared on my doorstep. She went above and beyond keeping me informed every step of the way and made sure that I was satisfied with e-trailer’s service.

Very easy to install. We really like the ability to adjust the temperature to each of our liking. The only complaint would be that we found in South Carolina in the summer where water lines aren't buried very deep, the unit couldn't back off enough when being fed 80 degree water.

Endless hot water rocks but it can be finicky to get tuned properly. My guess is once I get it dialed in correctly I should be good. Remember people you can adjust temperature AND flow through this thing. Even in my place with terrible water pressure it works just fine. When setting it up use the faucet with the shortest pipe run to the water heater to get your temperature set so you can just crank open the hot and go.

Is a drop-in replacement for the 5-7 gallon tank type it replaced. It has unique engineered features that make it first in class at delivering endless hot water. Uses same amount of propane as tank-type but you can take a real hot shower and wash and rinse dishes all in the same hour. Great for cold morning long hot showers not possible with tank type and a family.
