So you've lowered your truck, and it looks fantastic. However, you realize that your load capacity and suspension travel have deteriorated in the process. You're bottoming out more, and your ride simply isn't as comfortable as it could be. With SlamAir you can have the great look of a lowered truck while maintaining beefed-up suspension. You get a smooth, safe ride and prevent bottoming out. Now your vehicle will be as strong as it was when you drove it off the dealer's lot.
Enhancing your lowered truck's suspension with SlamAir provides your vehicle with up to 2,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity. SlamAir can accommodate most trucks with a 2- to 6-inch drop, as well as those with flipped axles and notched frames. The air springs themselves are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi, ensuring that you achieve the exact pressure levels that you need for any activity. And the springs can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling.
SlamAir comes with manual inflation valves that are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere on your vehicle for easy access. For even more convenience and control, you can add a compressor and gauge system (sold separately), which will let you monitor and automatically inflate your air springs.
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.
The SlamAir kit includes easy-to-use air line fittings, springs, brackets, air line tubing, inflation valves and all necessary hardware. SlamAir also comes with a limited lifetime warranty with no mileage restrictions.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these airlift slam air rear axle air helper Springs. Now these Springs are going to install between the frame and the leaf spring on your 1988 through 1999 Chevrolet and GMC CK series C 1500 pickups that have been lowered five to six inches. So this is gonna help provide support to reduce the strain on your pickup suspension when you're hauling a heavy load. This will help to increase your ride comfort. It's gonna help prevent bottoming out and increases your overall safety by keeping your vehicle level which helps to improve your steering and brake performance helps to maintain a safe headlight aim and keeps your tires from wearing unevenly.
So these bags can be manually adjusted from five PSI up to a hundred PSI to get the even load distribution and support that you need. These do provide up to 2000 pounds of load leveling capacity. Now, when you hear that, it is tempting to think that that means it's going to increase your vehicle's weight carry capacity by 2000 pounds. And that's not the case, this these aren't going to increase your vehicle's weight carry capacity. They're just going to help take some of that strain off of your factory suspension system.
So of course you don't want to exceed your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. These can be inflated individually so you can offset your side to side movement for your off center of loads. So if you have a really heavy water tank or something on the one side, you can air up that airbag more so that it gives you more support there where you need it. So that's going to provide that side to side leveling as well as that front to back that you get from having these installed on your rear axle. All the components that you're gonna need are included.
So you're gonna get the two air Springs with these easy to use airline fittings that will allow you to just plug your airline in the mounting brackets. All the hardware and the inflation valves that you'll need. So to get these installed, you have instructions to walk you through that process, but typically your manual inflation valves are mounted on the bumper area so that you have easy access to them so that you can just manually inflate one and the other, again, independently if you like, or to the same air pressure to give you consistent support across that rear axle, we do also have compressor systems that can be purchased separately that will allow you to monitor and adjust the air pressure from the comfort of your cab. So depending on if you prefer that manual adjustability or if you want to add a compressor both options are available for you. With this added on I no longer band the axle against the bottom of the bed floor.

Works well, great product! Was sold the wrong set on the first purchase. This was the second purchased. I asked for a discounted purchase because it was wring and was able to use the wrung ines in my other truck. Never heard back and the purchase was completed without any discounts.
Great product works really well
Installed these on a lowered 2014 f150 to help when I tow my boat. The directions aren’t very good and the install was a pain as far as mounting the top bracket to the Frame. My frame rails weren’t flat so the top brackets took some work to get them correct. Overall they do what was expected and seem to be ok so far. I’ve only driven for about 50 miles at the moment.
