Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with Etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Pop & Lock fuel door. This is going to install on your 2007 through 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It's going to allow you to lock your fuel tank, so no one has access to siphon off your gas or add any components to your fuel tank that you don't want in there. So it's going to give you a lot more security.One of the really nice things about this fuel door is this bolt lock.
This is a codeable locking cylinder, so you can use your ignition key or any other key that you want and stick it in there and turn it a few times. The instructions will give more details on how to get that set, but once you have it set up for your key, you can use that key all the time, so you don't have to worry about having separate keys, to remember which one's which and making sure that you always have it on hand. If you've got your ignition sheet, you'll be able to open up the door here. So that's a really nice feature there. Keep in mind, you can only set that once, so you do want to make sure that you're using the key that you want to use the first time you put it in there, that you're not just playing around with it or anything like that.
So once you get that set, it will only accept that key. So it's going to be really convenient and secure.They do provide instructions to help you get this mounted in place, and all the hardware that you're going to need is included as well to make sure that you can get this all installed. This does have a nice black aluminum door and housing, so it's going to be very durable and rustproof. You're not going to have to worry about stains from gasoline or other hazardous chemicals. So it's going to do a good job protecting your fuel tank so that you don't have to worry about thieves or pranksters messing with your system.So that's going to complete our look for today.

Excellent item. The install was easy, and the instructions were clear. Looks great and fits correctly.
Absolutely love it!! it took about 15 minutes to install and looks great. Directions were simple and easy to understand, coding the key was simple!
I replaced a locking gas cap, this is way better and easier to use.

After a year the Pop & Lock fuel door has worked flawlessly.
exactly as pictured, easy install. the only one I saw that works with your car key or any other key.

Nice that it uses your key for your car but who needs a key when it just takes four screws and there’s no more lock in the way?

This locking fuel door is fantastic. I have had NO problems, it look great, works flawlessly. I know for a fact it has deterred a couple of siphoning efforts and I love the product.
