Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our B&B RV Multi-Purpose Hatch and a nice flat back with a Thumb Lock, and it's in black. So folks, this Multi-Purpose Plastic Hatch will give you exterior access for maybe a fuel fill port or small item, something like that. The full coverage flat back design requires you to drill a hole or holes wherever you need 'em to be for that fuel fill. And, as you saw on the front, it comes with a plastic thumb turn lock.
You could replace that with a metal lock core and key if you so choose. That would be sold separately. Now this whole unit has been UV stabilized, so it's not gonna fade or turn yellow. It will resist road salt spray, those kind of things. So normal driving debris, none of that's gonna hurt it.
You do get the mount hardware here that's matching in black color, and you get a nice big roll here of the butyl tape. Now, if you've never used this stuff or seen it, it's like a putty construction; it's really squishy. And basically you'll just simply put that around the flat portion here. You'll push it in place, and then you'll use your screws and mount this in place where it goes. And that's going to press and make a nice, tight watertight and weathertight seal and keep all the moisture and everything out as well.
It's made right here in the US, has a nice one-year warranty. It has been CSA, TEI, and NSF certified as well. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look today. Thanks for watching, and stay safe on the road.
Happy to have it.

Good product, fast shipping
Received product today.
The door itself was good quality. The lock used was of poor quality, using only a cheap clip to hold it in place. The lock would not hold the top of the door closed, which would let the tv tires throw water right into the compartment the door was attached to. Purchased another lock that used a nut to hold the lock securely in place and the door is now closed properly.
Looks like a fine access door. I have yet to install it but the unit seems complete. Just what I needed.
