Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Sylvania 9005 SU Halogen Headlight Bulbs, or SilverStar Ultras. Now folks, these will replace your standard equipment 65 watt halogen bulbs with these high performance upgrades. Now, check your owner's manual on how to replace these, but if you see these three plastic tabs, I'm pretty sure on this particular style, you're gonna be untwisting this from your headlight assembly and pulling out, and then unplugging the connection, and then pushing it back in and locking in place with these tabs. Now that sometimes can be tricky, so if you're not familiar with it, you can always take it to a local mechanic and get it done there.
But I think if you follow instructions, take your time, you could probably do it yourself as well. Now, these do give you a a lot brighter and broader light distribution with a longer range for faster recognition of object while you're driving. And they have an impressive 4,100 Kelvin color temperature, and that just means it's wider and brighter than most other Hagen bulbs on the market. That is recommended to replace bulbs on both headlight assemblies at the same time if you're changing one. And that just can gives you a consistent light level and color on both sides for both you and people coming at you while you're driving.
Now, these lights do meet all DOT regulations for performance in life. And before we wrap it up, just wanna mention, never touch the glass with your fingers. The oils and stuff could get on there and potentially reduce the lifespan of the bulbs themselves. I recommend using some kind of gloves, maybe even a clean shop towel or something of that nature when you're doing it. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for a quick look at our Halogen Headline Bulbs by Sylvania, the 9005 SU, or again, SilverStar Ultras.
I'm Steven. Have a good one.
