Notes:
Start your engine easier and warm your cab faster in cold weather with this frost-plug-style engine block heater. Heating your engine coolant keeps it from thickening and freezing, resulting in more reliable start-ups and smoother operation altogether. It also lessens the workload and extends the life of your vehicle's battery. And because starting your engine when it's warm creates less condensation in the engine block than starting it when it's cold, your engine will get better initial fuel vaporization, which causes fewer emissions and less pollution.
This frost-plug heater replaces the core plug in your engine block. The power cord on the heater is removable so that you won't need to buy a whole new heater if the cord gets damaged. The cord can be routed through your grille for easy access to a 120-volt outlet or extension cord. If needed, a longer or shorter cord (sold separately) can be purchased to better fit your application. Make sure the heating element is fully submerged in the coolant before plugging it in.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Kats heaters frost plug-style custom-engine block heater. Now, this does have quite a few fitments, so I have those listed there for you on your screen. As you can see, this is going to fit various years of your Ford Bronco, Lincoln Continental Ford Edge, F-150, Fusion, Lincoln MKX, and Nautilus. Now, on custom-fit parts such as this engine block heater, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So this frost plug heater is going to actually replace the frost plug in your engine block and it's going to submerge in the coolant to keep engine fluids from thickening. That's going to help ensure smoother startups and faster heating and the frosting of your cab. So it's gonna preheat the engine to reduce condensation in the engine block. It's going to therefore emit less pollution and fewer gas emissions. It does include this removable power cord, and that's nice because if for whatever reason this cord gets damaged, all you have to do is replace the cord and not the entire heater itself.
You're just gonna route this through your grill and plug it into a standard 120 volt AC outlet or extension cable. This is constructed of durable copper. Again, custom-fit for your vehicle, CSA approved. The thread size is 3/4 of an inch NPT. The heating element length when it goes inside of here, it's gonna be about an inch and a half, 400 watts, 3.3 amps.
If you have any other further questions, don't hesitate to give us a ring. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me.
