Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Du-Ha lock box under seat truck storage box and gun case. Now this is a custom fit part. Now, this is a nice under seat storage box that'll turn your unused dead space in your truck cab to nice storage space, and help keep your guns and valuables out of sight.

This under seat storage bin will store tools, guns and more items. It'll free up space for your passengers, dogs, or other gear. As you can see, it's a very large bin. It extends under both seats. And if you notice there's a lock on each end here, so the lid locks in two places to prevent theft.

It does include four keys. So basically if you just turn that 90 degrees, turn that one 90 degrees, both latches will lock, and there's no way you can open that. And then to unlock it, just turn it back 90 degrees. And it'll unlock it, you can raise the lid. You can see the hooks here for the locks, and there's your locks right here.

Now this is a heavy-duty polyethylene plastic bin, withstands the punishment of everyday use. Now all the Du-Ha storage products are roto-molded. Gonna zoom in to show you, this is the same process that you use to make premium coolers and high performance kayaks, so it will not flex or curl. Now other storage boxes out there will make their under seat storage products using thermal forming, which is the same process used to make floor mats. And the thermal form products are simply not as strong or durable, and they can flex and curl.

Also, if you notice on the inside of this, you can see it uses a full-length piano hinge, all the way there, and all the way on that end. This will give you strength, makes opening the lid very easy, so on one end you can just lift it up by one hand, it won't flex or anything. And on the inside, let me see, if I turn this I can show you. There's the dividers, they use these special dividers to help organize your cargo. There's one here and one down there. These inserts will help separate any smaller stuff, so it doesn't get lost in the bin. And if you don't want to use them, they just pop right out. And other one can also, if you need for longer stuff. To go to use it, just push it right in. Now this is a legal gun case in most States. And basically, a legal gun case is when the gun is completely contained in a securely fastened case. And as we've mentioned, this one also even locks. Now the gun holding inserts on these dividers here, if you notice, they are covered with a nice soft material, so when you put your gun there it won't damage your gun, and it does hold two guns without scopes. Now as we mentioned, this is custom designed to fit your vehicle. You can see it is a nice black color. All the hardware I have laid out here is included for installation. And what's nice about it, when you install this using that hardware, it's all the, mounting hardware is internal. So when your box is locked, the box cannot be removed by removing the mounting hardware. This part is made in the USA. Just to give you an idea of the size, the width of it, from this end this end is about 58 inches wide. Total depth on the unit is about 19 and a half inches deep, And the total height is about eight inches tall.
