Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this WeatherTech under-seat truck storage box. Now, this is a custom fit part that is designed to fit the 2019 to 2021 RAM 1500 Crew Cab. To confirm that this is going to work for your vehicle, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide and input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will let you know if this will work for your vehicle. Now, this custom fit storage box fits perfectly beneath the rear seats of your RAM 1500's truck cab. And your seats are going to act as a lid for this box, and it will keep your RAM clean and organized. Now, this is a large capacity box, and it's gonna be perfect for storing your jumper cables, your tools, and all sorts of supplies.
And inside here, I included the instructions. And it also comes with a strap to secure this. And I kinda left this in here, even though this is a little bit darker because of the color, just so you can kinda get an idea of just how deep this box goes. And the built-in dividers that we have here are going to keep everything organized for you. This is made in the USA of a chemical-resistant construction.
And the black textured finish is going to really lend to a from the factory look, so it's gonna look really nice in the back of your truck. I mentioned this strap. This is going to be an easy strap-in installation. You're just going to run this strap through the slot here in the rear and feed it through the seat mount. And you'll just clasp the strap together and tighten it up, and that is gong to secure this storage box in the back of your cab.
Now, the overall length, just to kinda give you an idea of the size, the overall length at the longest point of this container is sitting right at 52 inches long. And the widest point is gonna be right at 16 inches wide. Now, it is important to note that the optional rear under-seat storage must be removed before installing this. And as I mentioned, instructions are included. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty.

I love the concept, but weather tech could have done a better job of designing it. There is a lot of waisted space in the way they designed it. As for ordering-shipping, everything went off with out a hitch
It's not perfect, but it fits nicely and appears to be solidly made. Improvement could be made in securing the unit better, having said that, it still does a pretty nice job.
The sides are relatively flimsy, and the bottom edges (where the storage box meets the truck carpeted floor) are sharp, not rounded. So, the storage box does not easily slide out to access the items in the box. I had a Du-Ha Storage Box for my previous truck, which was higher quality. I recommend getting a Du-Ha instead of WeatherTech.
It's great, I got rid of my cross bed tool box and have everything I need under my back seat

My wife couldn't wait until I purchased this item. I have all sorts of stuff hidden under my back seat and was all out of order and would slip out from under the seat every now and then. With this tray, everything is now organized well. Wish I had this long time ago. Thanks etrailer for having what I needed.
etrailer gets 5 stars. Site was helpful, shipping was ahead of schedule. No issues there. All the issues are with the product. Unexpected of a weathertech product. Material is flimsy, I have GM premium all weather floor liners and the storage box can’t maintain its base because the edges slip on the floor liners. The floor liners also have a lip on them that I had to cut a notch for on each end to try and prevent the storage box base from flaring out. I’m sure the box holds its form fine on carpet, I’d be interested to see how it sits on weathertech brand floor liners. It holds all your stuff secure. I wish it had been more rigid in design and didn’t have all the wasted space because of the way it was engineered. Not worth the price even on sale!!!

Works great and fits well
The box fits well, actually could be a little bigger but still a decent size. Was expecting a more firm, harder plastic. It's a little on the flimsy side for the price you pay. Kind of the same material as one of those plastic portable kids pools. Shipping was fast and easy. Could be a little more durable.
Makes underseat storage much easier. Delivery was unbelievably fast.
The scooter gives you a great sense of independence.

Its very handy, I wouldnt be without it. The one very minor issue is that if you have Weather Tech-like floor mats Mine are Mopar the middle part of the storage box has to go over the mats. Not a big deal.
