Driving at night or in dim conditions can make it hard for others to spot your trailer. This Peterson low-profile reflector helps boost visibility with its bright amber surface that stands out in low light. The oval shape measures 4-1/2" wide by 3-3/4" tall, offering a clean, noticeable reflection that helps mark vehicle edges and improves safety on the road.
You don’t have to worry about rust or corrosion with this reflector. The aluminum housing is tough and rustproof, giving you a reliable, long-lasting option that holds up well through weather and road grime. It’s made to stay looking good and working right even after plenty of use outdoors.
Installing this reflector is straightforward. The surface-mount design lets you fasten it directly to your trailer’s body without complicated brackets. It has mounting holes spaced 3-15/16" center to center, making placement quick and easy with standard hardware (not included). Once mounted, it stays snug and low-profile for a clean look that won’t snag or catch.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number B472A. This is the Amber Reflector from Peterson Trailer Lights. The diameter of the reflector itself, not including the housing, just the reflector is going to give us a diameter of about 3 inches. The overall measurements measuring from outer edge to outer edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 4 5/8 inches. Going this direction, outer edge to outer edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 3 13/16 inches. Then the depth or thickness from front to back, that's only going to give us a measurement of about 5/16 inch. The mounting holes on the unit are going to give us a diameter of around 1/4 inch.
The reflector is going to sit on a rust proof, aluminum base. Then those mounting holes are going to be separated apart from one another on center by 3 15/16 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at part number B472A.

Still looking good. I sold the trailer it was on a week ago, but they looked like new as it was being towed away.
