Water and road grime are no match for this light. The housing and lens are sonically sealed to form a single waterproof unit, making it fully submersible. That means you can count on it to shine bright even after repeated exposure to rain or when launching at the ramp. There’s no moisture sneaking in to corrode the socket or kill the bulb—just dependable performance that lasts.
Good lighting isn’t just about brightness—it’s about coverage. This PC-rated light shines at a 90-degree angle to either side of the centerline for a full 180 degrees of illumination. Positioned properly, it doubles as both a clearance and side marker light, so other drivers can see your trailer from the front, back, or side. That extra visibility keeps things safer day or night.
Mounting is simple and secure thanks to the built-in flange design. Just surface mount it with your own hardware and plug in using a standard 2-prong connector (A46PB or A86PB, sold separately). No complicated wiring or custom brackets—just a quick, tidy install that stays put once mounted.
Built to handle everyday use, this light uses a tough polycarbonate housing with a red lens over a replaceable incandescent bulb. When it’s time for maintenance, swapping out the bulb is easy—no need to replace the whole assembly. Drawing only 0.2 amps at 12.8V, it stays energy-efficient while delivering steady light output you can rely on.
Measuring 2-15/16" in diameter and 1-3/8" deep with 2-1/4" mounting hole spacing (center to center), this round light fits neatly into common setups without modification. It’s DOT compliant and ready for use wherever rear clearance or side marker lighting is required—simple, functional, and built for the job.

Here we have Optronics Sealed 2 Inch Round Side Marker and Clearance Light with Flange Mount part number MC54RB. This lens and the housing of this light are sealed and waterproofed. The back of the light uses a plug design that is designed to use industry standard 2 prong wire harness leads. The light is covered by a 3 year warranty excluding the bulb. Next we are going to hook the light up to a power supply so you can see how it looks. We will connect our ground connection to one of the posts in the back and connect our power to the other. Next we will turn off the overhead lights so you can see how bright the light is. And that does it for Optronics Sealed 2 Inch Round Side Marker and Clearance Light with Flange Mount part number MC54RB.

I'm so pleased with ETrailer because you are the only ones that carried it. Thank you so much.
I A great experience. Product works as it should and Alec C. Made sure to keep me informed throughout the entire proceeds
The product was an exact fit nothing required. Simply plugged it in to the existing wires and it clipped right into the trailer opening. Still working today! excellent!!
Broke one of my warning lights and stretched out the rubber grommets. Perfect fit and matched my existing lights like nothing ever happened. Awesome price and was delivered quickly. You have a customer for life thank you.
Just what I need for my motorhome. Arrived much sooner than I expected. Installation was a snap.
I purchased this light assembly and a rubber grommet to replace the right marker light on my Karavan trailer. It fit perfectly and had the proper 2 pin connector. Ordering was easy and it arrived promptly.
Works as advertised.
Perfect fit, just like OEM
These running lights work great. I use them on my boat trailer which is exposed to a lot of salt water. No problems, for they are a sealed light. For the price I bought extras but haven't had to use them. It's been about a year now.
I really like the staff, you guys and gals rock! I have used you twice and thank you!
Fit perfectly.
Light work great!!!
I always buy from etrailer Customer service and fast delivery
Knowing that a Black trailer would be hard to see at night the following lights were added to my custom built trailer for night time safety.
1- Side mount red and yellow fender light which only works when either the brakes or turn signal are in use.
2- Front Clearance lights, which give additional lighting at night when approaching on coming vehicles.
Light was an identical replacement. No issues, great service and fast service. Will buy again from etrailer if I have to again.
In the process of detailing my 2003 motorcycle trailer to get it looking good again. Clearance lights needed replacement. The original red lights were now faded pink for goodness sake! Replaced all 20 lights with the thin-line red and amber side marker lights. Replacement couldn't be more simple; remove original lights, snap in new. Exact fit and everything worked perfectly. Now, once the new tires and wheels get here we'll be in good shape! The new lights definitely make you say, "no way that trailer's 15 years old" :-)
As per your request here is a photo of the installation of the running lights that I purchased from etrailer. I have included a photo of the original light fixtures that I replaced. The originals were proprietary to Winnebago Industries, but have not been available for some time. The top piece that the lights mount on are made of a plastic material & was molded to accept the fixtures into a small recessed area. As a consequence, I could find no replacements at the local suppliers. I found the MC68RB fixtures on your web site & felt sure that they would fit the recessed area. They did fit, & I was able to install them with some common sense adjustments to the new fixture & the area that received the fixture:
1 added another wire to provide ground for the light.
2 drilled a hole to accommodate the wires in the center of area to receive the fixture, as the original hole was set to one side.
3 mounting holes were wider than new fixture - used one of the original holes & used a self drilling screw on the other.
We are happy with the installation, and in our opinion there is very little difference in appearance of the area between original & replacement provided by your company. There are at least 2 models (View & Nation) that used the original, global-bright 122R/122Y, sold between 2005 & 20013 from what I can tell.
I no longer have the good camera that took the photo of the original photo. The photo of the replacement fixtures was taken by a smart phone, hence, less quality of photo. Sorry the quality is so poor.
I bought 5 of these amber lights for the front of my trailer, and 5 red counterparts for the back, and similar oval side lights too, to replace all of the 50-year-old corroded lights on my 1970 Shasta M1400. I am super pleased with them, as they look period-appropriate, and are very bright as well. The only issue I had was that the Shastas of that period used the aluminum skin of the trailer as the ground, so there is no "ground wire." On a couple of them, the caulking I put under the lights made the ground screw not find the metal skin to ground the circuit. So just a note to be careful when you put the caulk on the back of the light when you are installing. Make sure you don't caulk over, and thus insulate, the ground plate. Btw, this was my first purchase from etrailer.. and in the past year, I have purchased probably another $xxxx of stuff for our trailer. Great selection, great service. This website really should be your first stop when modernizing your "vintage" trailer.
High quality, inexpensive marker light. Easy to install, it happened to be in my mailbox as I was departing with the trailer so I just popped it in. Matches the OEM lights on the trailer.
was what I order and was on time
EASY ASSEMBLY
Will send pics when installed...
item arrived quickly and so far performing flawlessly
i am verry satisfied with the product i dont have any pictures right now i just got them today
great light for the price Iwill save my E Mail so i will order some more when I need them
Good quality product. Exactly as described. The only complaint that I have is that there are zero instructions. What instructions would one need for a light? Which wire is used for ground, black or white? This may not be important for an incandescent bulb but reverse voltage will typically blow an LED. If you do house wiring, you expect the white wire to be ground. If your background, like mine, is radio and DC circuits then the DC ground wire is typically black or green. On these lights, the ground is white.
