Trailer hub-and-drum assembly fits 6,000-lb axles with spindles that require a 2-1/8" or 2-1/4" ID grease seal. GAL-DEX zinc coating designed for marine applications. Bearings, seal and grease cap sold separately.
Features:
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this galvanized trailer hub and drum assembly. This galvanized trailer hub and drum assembly is gonna fit your 6,000 pound Dexter axles with spindles that require a 2-1/8 inch or 2-1/4 inch inner diameter grease seal. This is gonna be compatible with your electric and hydraulic brakes. And this features a gal deck zinc coating that's designed for marine applications. So the dimensions of this drum is 12 inches in diameter and two inches wide, and our bolt pattern is 6-on-5-1/2 inches.
And the first number in that bolt pattern is the number of wheel studs or bolts. And then that second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which our wheel studs sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on an even number on a bolt pattern, you're simply going to measure from the center of one wheel stud to the center of the wheel stud directly across from it. And this has a weight capacity of 3,000 pounds. So when this one is matched with one on the other side of the axle, that's gonna meet your 6,000 pound axle capacity.
This does include the races and the wheel studs. So those races, the inner and outer race, are already installed. However, this will require bearings, a seal, and a grease cap. Those are sold separately from this. But on your screen, I'm including all the information that you need on what inner bearing and what outer bearing you are gonna need and then the grease seal and the grease cap.
So all that information is there and you can find that information on this product page as well. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

great price and the berring races came installed, saved me time. hopefully they can hold up to salt water
As always... just what I ordered in a timely fashion.
I got the parts as stated Direct bolt on no issues. I found the web site to be helpful. This is my new trailer parts store.
Perfect replacement for my old worn out Hub/Drum. I went with the galvanized becasue of use in saltwater.
Thanks E-Trailer.
So far so good! Wish it would have come with new castle nut and washer. Fast delivery!
I used these on my salt water boat trailer. The product works very well and have stood up to the salt water quite well.
I am happy with the results and ease of use.
Both drums had rust spots in the same location, like they were sitting somewhere with water in them. Used some 200 grit sandpaper to remove the rust be surface of drums still marred.
Product has held up remarkably; I trailer only so there are weekly drops for the boat.
Last year was lighter then normally but all in all better then I though they would last.
Excellent resources to help determine the exact parts I needed for my trailer project. Great product descriptions and videos. Competive prices and quick shipping! Thank you very much!
I'm just getting around to installing my drums, thanks for promptly getting them to me, they look great!
I'm wondering if this product has the free backing feature or if I need to manually lock out the brakes when backing up. Any information is appreciated.
I replaced the entire triple axle suspension on my 5 wheel with your products. Everything went well and I’ve had no problems with the updates.
I would highly recommend etrailer if they have what you need. These people really care about filling your order properly and followup with anything you order from them. They assume nothing!
This is a class AAA business to do business with.
Bought the galvanized drum brakes for a 6000# boat trailer used strictly in salt water. With rinse off after use they seem to be holding up pretty good.
Decided to try a galvanized drum for my boat trailer. Hopefully lasts better with no rust. The wheel studs on these drums are longer than the non galvanized version for some reason.
