I took advantage of the ample "home" time to install this rack on my 2014 Tesla Model S. My primary need is to accept my bike rack, so the 1-1/4" receiver was perfect. I recommend watching installation videos and studying the installation notes prior to starting this project. All in all, it went smoothly (some finicky bolts) and I split my installation into two sessions: 1) Disassembly and hitch installation and 2) panel modification and reassembly. Though not needed, I did use ramps to improve the accessibility to underneath the car. I wish I would have installed this sooner, but selling our only vehicle with a hitch motivated it.

Overall great hitch. If you don't have the air suspension, go with the one that has the removable "L" piece, because you will scrape the receiver on every driveway you visit.
Great hitch! Small price! If I could change anything I would prefer a pin instead of the nut and bolt however I understand that it would rattle with a pin.
