This hitch installs behind the bumper so the cross tube stays out of sight, leaving only the removable 2" receiver or ball mount visible when in use. The 7-way, blade-style connector powers your trailer’s signal lights and connects directly to your vehicle’s battery to avoid overloading its electrical system. The hitch continues to meet all of the needs in our use case: towing a boat occasionally and holding a bike rack on others. Changing from one to the another is easy so long as I have a towel to lay on briefly. The only improvement for next iteration. Would be to increase the size if the chain loops. They are really tight to the main part of the hitch and recessed under the vehicle more than most. It takes a little wiggling but they work. I’d still recommend for anyone else.
