It did take another set of hands to do so. Also found bolt and washer can fit in side side hole with out grinding away but took some finagling. All in all took 60min and vary happy with the built and install!
Installed it on my 2020 Escape Sport Hybrid AWD. Confirmed fit, as advertised! I was worried about finding one that fit since that the model is still pretty new redesign.
It wasn't too bad to install (I'm not a professional), and I got it done in an evening. Didn't need an exhaust hangar removal tool -- I just used some grease and a pair of pliers. For resizing the access hole, I used a Dremel with a Silicon Carbide Grinding Stone bit and it didn't take much grinding. Other than that, I followed the directions and it was pretty straightforward.
The product itself feels very sturdy and it's heavy. It almost feels like overkill since I'm only going to be putting a bike carrier on it. Only not-so-good thing was some of the black paint was flaking off already, on arrival. It's not in a visible spot though.
Fit, quality, instructions and customer support were top notch. Got a new 2020 Ford Escape on Jan 26th, ordered the hitch the next day, then tore my rotator cuff so couldn’t install until today. But the install was quick easy and exactly like the video.

I bought one of these for my old car and was very pleased with it. When I traded that vehicle in for a newer model, I bought another hitch conversion for it. This is a great product. It fits perfectly and the directions are clear and concise. With a little ingenuity, this 67-year-old managed to complete the installation alone. It really isn't that difficult. If you need an add-on hitch receiver for your vehicle, I highly recommend this one.
The instructional video is excellent. And I was pleasantly surprised that you even supplied the fish wires to pull the hardware through the frame. One trip to purchase a pneumatic right angle grinder. It fit the car perfectly. I should have done it sooner.
Fit perfect. Tricky to do by yourself without a lift but it can be done.
Easy to install, works great!
Took a total of about 35 minutes to install, definitely a better fit than the earlier 2014 escape models, no trimming exhaust shelds! Just remove 2 exhaust bolts, enlarge 2 holes in sub frame. The most time consuming part was fishing the lock plates and bolts through the subframe.. then tighten the hitch and install the 2 exhaust bolts! Easy!!
easy to order, simple installation, nearly perfect fit. I had to grind the access holes larger to get the bolts into the frame rail. also had to shim the front bolt locations due to a sheet metal transition not accounted for. my shim prevented the hitch from pointing downwards a little
Fit like a glove but I had to Dremel away some metal inside receiver tube so the draw bar would go in. It seems the reinforcement may have been welded on a tad off location.I paid a little more for the the draw tight brand but I don't think it was worth it.
Fits and does not protrude too much from under bumper. Will be great for platforms and bike racks.

My trailer hitch came in super fast and it was super easy to install it. So far so good, it looks really good and I can't wait to use it to accomplish all the trips and projects I have in mind.

Great as expected
Fits great (2020 Ford Escape Hybrid), price was right, delivery was fast, follow up was courteous. Couldn't ask for more.

no problems what so ever... easy to install according to the place I had it installed at..
Looks like a good product. Came in good condition and no parts are missing.
It will a week or two before I install it. Busy with other projects.

Super easy install and exce;;ent detailed install video. I never found the torque spec so I just tighten it until I let out a sigh of relief.
