Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.etrailer was recommended to me by a friend and I was very happy with my experience. The hitch and wiring harness were exactly what I needed and the website was extremely helpful in helping me determine what product would be best for me. The real-life pictures as well as the schematics that they provide were very helpful. The box that the hitch arrived in was very badly damaged, but the hitch was in good shape (except for one tiny scratch). It seems like such an awkward and heavy piece of steal should have some sort of padding inside the box, but all in all, it survived its journey.
I was in a hurry to get the order, so I paid for the faster shipping eventhough I qualified for the free standard shipping. I was very worried when they told me that one of the items was not available, but they had it shipped from another supplier. Both pieces came very quickly (a couple of days) even with the issues of parts being out of stock. The customer service team did a good job of keeping me informed via e-mail about the status of the order as well. The parts were easily installed and everything fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend etrailer.com to anyone and plan on using them in the future.
