This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you a solid 2" x 2" opening that’s ready for all kinds of towing and accessory setups. With a Class III rating, it’s built to handle up to 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 300 lbs tongue weight. That’s plenty for light trailers, small campers, and cargo carriers. The square-tube design adds rigidity and keeps everything stable while you’re on the move.
You don’t need a shop full of tools to get this hitch installed. It bolts directly onto the frame using the included mounting hardware—no welding or fabrication needed. The precision, robotic welds mean everything lines up where it should for a straightforward fit. Installation instructions come with the kit, so you can take care of it in your own driveway.
The hitch is fully welded steel with a gloss black powder coat finish over a protective base layer. That combo helps resist rust and corrosion from rain, road salt, and grime. The result is a durable finish that looks clean under the bumper and holds up to years of use.
Whether you’re hauling gear or carrying bikes, this receiver is made for it. The 2" size fits most standard ball mounts, racks, and carriers without needing adapters. Just slide in your accessory, secure it with a pin and clip (sold separately), and you’re set for towing or transporting your gear.

My trailer hitch is working out very well on my Tesla model three. When I go down the driveway, it’s scrapes the street because it’s very low on the rear bumper. It took a body shop to have it professionally installed because you have to takeoff all the plastic that covers the metal parts underneath the smooth bumper. Not an easy chore unless you’re a body shop.
