With a 3,500 lb maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lb tongue weight rating, this Curt Class III hitch gives your vehicle everyday towing capability. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with most ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers, making it easy to haul small boats, campers, or extra gear without sacrificing stability.
The hitch body is precision-welded by robots for strength and a precise fit. That means fewer joints and weak points, so you get solid performance every time you tow or mount accessories. The sturdy, powder-coated steel holds up to repeated use while maintaining its shape under load.
A gloss black powder coat finish sits over a protective base coat to fight rust and corrosion. This layered protection helps your hitch handle road salt, rain, and grime season after season while keeping a clean look under the bumper.
Installing this hitch doesn’t require welding or special tools—just bolt it directly to the frame using the included hardware kit and instructions. Everything lines up for a custom fit so you can get it mounted in the driveway without cutting or modifications.

I was very sorry to read this review Edward. I am very happy that you were able to get it installed, and I hope that whatever you are using it for is bringing you joy! I have helped with many hitch installs here at etrailer up on the lifts, this last weekend I installed my own hitch at home on the ground with jack stands, I have much respect for the do it yourselfer at home! I just fell in love with riding a bike again, makes me feel like a kid, so a bike rack was a must! What is the main purpose of your hitch?
