When your tires start to sink in sand or mud, you lay down a board that helps you drive out, then carry on with extra water stored in the same piece of gear.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today, we're checking out something pretty cool, the Maxtrax Moto Board and included water storage tank. Now, this is a great option. At its core, it's a durable recovery board set designed to help you get unstuck whether it's sand, mud, or snow. And it's gonna give those tires the extra traction that they need when the terrain gets too tough.
And deploying it is pretty simple. You got these orange keepers. Spin both of those inward on both sides. And then from there, the first traction board's gonna come off. You also have the kickstand plate here.
(board thuds) And then the second board would come off after that. And then at this point, you're left with these two orange hard plastic connectors links. And I'll get to them in a minute. But what's really unique about this, again, is this it can hold two liters of water in this base right here. So, there's a rubber plug here and here.
And all you'd simply do is just pull them out and then you could then fill this with up to, again, two liters of water and then plug it back up whenever you're done. So, I wanna zoom back out and show you how these connect. So, once again, you have both plates here. You'd simply line them up, front to front, back to back, whichever. And then you've got these sliders that pop into place here on both sides.
And you do have to just kind of hold up a little bit. And then you can kind of pull them apart and then they kind of lock into place. There we go. Just like that. So, now, once they're locked into place, you have one single traction pad that you could put between the wheels of the dirt bike or whatever you're using it for, and then get that traction you need it to get out of that sand, mud, snow, whatever, and give you that aggressive traction that you need. Now, these are built from tough, UV-stabilized, engineering-grade materials, and it's gonna handle those harsh environments. So, again, what's great about this besides that, again, is the water storage. So, whether you're overlanding, camping, or out for emergency use, if you need water rather, for an emergency, you have all of this that with the included little straps here, you can integrate those straps in the system and then strap it onto the side of your bike for use. So, again, folks, a great option for you. And, again, everything just kind of nest back together. So, taking them apart, I found again, it's easier to kind of tilt 'em up just to kind of loosen and then kind of push them back apart as such. And then, again, you can stack those, put that kick plate back, and these guys just go right here. Snap back into place. Everything goes back on, lock it back out, and then again, you would have it strapped onto the side of your bike on that bottom one, and then you're ready to go. So, again, folks, whether you're exploring off-grid trails, heading out for a long overlanding trip, or you just want a smarter way to carry some recovery gear and potentially that extra water that you may need, this is a great combo for you.
