When you need to keep tools, gear, or groceries protected from weather or theft, the RetraxONE XR makes it simple. The pop-up locking handle lets you open or close the cover with one hand and secure it at any point along the rails. You can leave part of the bed open for oversized items while keeping smaller cargo covered near the bulkhead. Once closed and locked—with your tailgate locked too—your gear stays safe behind a hard polycarbonate shell that can’t be easily pried or cut.
Many covers stick, drag, or need straps just to stay in place. This one glides smoothly on sealed ball-bearing rollers that never need lubrication. There are no hinges, joints, or springs to wear out, freeze, or jam, so opening and closing takes only seconds. When you retract it, the cover rolls neatly into a compact canister with a spiral track that keeps the panels from rubbing together, preventing wear over years of use.
Built from tough Lexan polycarbonate reinforced with 5/8" thick metal I-beams every 4-3/4", this cover is made to take real-world abuse. It supports up to 200 lbs of evenly distributed weight and handles temperatures from -50° to 200°F without cracking, swelling, or fading. The matte black finish is scratch resistant and UV stable, so it keeps its clean look through heat, snow, and road grime.
The integrated Trax Rail System lets you add T-slot-compatible racks for bikes, kayaks, or overlanding gear without losing bed space. Because the rails are built right into the cover edges, you can mount crossbars or ladder racks above while using the retractable cover below—nothing interferes with either function. It’s an easy way to haul more without removing your bed cover.
Rain and dust don’t stand a chance against the tight weather stripping and foam seals that surround this cover. The overlapping top edge blocks water at the tailgate, while two drain tubes in the canister channel any moisture out through existing bed holes. The low-profile rails sit just 1" above the bed for a clean look that still keeps your cargo dry through storms or car washes.

One year in and I have no problems with this cover. Still opens and closes smoothly. It does take up more room than I was expecting but its not something that would keep me from buying it again. I have added the Yakima rack to it and it all works great.

Terrific product. Ive been very pleased. The only only improvement I can suggest, improve the drainage hose attachment fittings. They come loose too easily.

Glad to hear it looks great, Shelli! I have had a similar cover on my Silverado since 2018 and the retractable covers are the way to go, at least in my opinion. I haven't any issues with the canister making loading up the bed with stuff cause any problems and I don't think you will either. ^___^ What are you typically keeping in your bed? I always have a milk crate with survival type stuff in it, just in case!
