When rain, snow, or dust hit, the UltraGroove keeps your gear protected with interlocking aluminum panels and silicone weather hinges that seal tightly between each slat. The matte black powder coat won’t corrode or fade, and wide outer seals and drain tubes move water through the factory bed holes instead of letting it pool inside. Endcaps that overlap the tailgate seal out the corners where most covers tend to leak, keeping your cargo dry through all seasons.

If you’ve ever had to climb into your bed to tug or roll a heavy cover, this one solves that. The electric motor wires straight to the battery and opens or closes with a key fob in under 30 seconds. You can stop it anywhere along the rails thanks to an electro-magnetic brake that locks it in place. There’s also a manual release on the canister if power is lost, so you’re never stuck waiting to get to your tools or gear.

When you need to haul kayaks, ladders, or camping gear without giving up bed space, the integrated T-slot rails make it easy. They accept most T-slot accessories and let you position racks where you need them along the bed. Because the tonneau retracts into a compact angled canister, you can still see out the rear window and use all of your cargo area below the rack setup.

Some covers stick up like a toolbox, but this one sits about an inch above the bed rails for a smooth, flush look. The curved side rails and endcaps keep airflow clean over the top of the truck, which helps reduce drag and squeeze out a bit more efficiency on long drives. The result is a cover that looks sharp while doing real work every day.

Installation is straightforward—just clamp the side rails inside the bed using two clamps per side and mount the canister at the bulkhead. The self-supporting kickstands on the rear clamps make leveling easy so the cover slides smoothly once tightened down. Finally, connect the wiring harness to your battery and it’s ready to go without drilling a single hole.

Excellent quality. Great service and fast delivery
Had this for about a year and its doing well. Pretty good keeping the water out. I would buy it again.
Fast shipping and delivery
I have enjoyed the cover but the powder coating has come off of one of the aluminum rails and I never recieved the correct end cap for one of the rails
I have tried them all.
Trifolds....accordians...to full on toppers.
I will not be looking anymore. It provides the security that I need and the convenience with the electric rolltop.
Still looks mint a year later.
Installed wiring for cover (power and switch) first and then installed the cover .
etrailers videos were great
Solid cover and easy to install.
Great communication and shipping
This product exceeded my expectation! I installed it on a 2019 F450 limited and the only modifications required to the truck was to drill (2) 5/8” holes in the bed plug covers (4L3Z-99277B76-AA) to allow the drain tubes to exit the bed of the truck. The rail mounts did require me to remove (drill out) all the shims to get the required width for the cover. Thanks to both etrailer and Pace-Edwards customer support for answering questions about removing the shims.
The online instructions I downloaded from etrailer did not contain the correct installation widths for this Item, however the instructions shipped from Pace-Edwards were spot on.
Imstalled to exact specifications, and the slide drags midway throthe cycle. Measurements are exact from front to back. I used the lubrication before first operation as well. Considering using a light, low temp grease to see if it will loosen up...
Not very impressed.
The Pace-Edwards tonneau cover works very well. I sprayed lithium grease in the track and it worked great. It was a challenge to install by myself but it turned out nice.
The Pace Edward’s UltraGroove retractable hard Tonneau cover works well. Really liked the installation video.
Easy to install, secure when closed and tailgate is locked, looks great. Very convenient, push a button and it opens, push it again and it closes. It can be stopped in any position which is great for a fifth wheel
I just got it installed and it works perfectly, I can’t believe I have gone this long without it!
Very easy to install,v just make sure you have a partner to help pick it up and get it into the bed. aside from that it took no time at all to wire it up and start using it. Looks great and very sturdy.
Works great, installation instructions not great but the video on the website was amazing and was in great detail. The key fobs are little bigger then I like but the system it self is great and works well
I installed the pace Edwards powered ultra groove cover on an 2024 2500HD truck. The cover has been on for about a year. Overall the cover is very nice and I like the ability of being able to have the top partially open. I also have used it with my Yakima overhaul truck rack to haul kayaks and bikes. Putting the rack onto the ultragrroove was very easy and works excellent. It’s so nice having a powered cover with the rack onto! It’s very nice to not need to reach over the side rails to open/close. I have the Bluetooth option and that works very well and that is my primary choice of operation.
The cover was pretty easy to install and the videos were helpful. if you have an electric lift tailgate make sure to keep the overlap of the cover on the tailgate to a minimum or the power tailgate may not self close if the cover seal interacts too heavily with tailgate top
A few things that I found; As the manufacturer states it’s not water proof and I get a little water in from around the cover seals and the canister box. But the majority of the water seems to come in from all the openings in the bed and gaps on the tailgate. In the sun the black cover absorbs a LOT of heat and the temperature in the bed get quite high. Be aware of this on a sunny day with anny temperature sensitive items or coolers placed in the bed. Be careful touching the black slats on an hot sunny day they are hot. The cover motor significantly slows down when closing and sounds like it may not be able to close but it does get there. Although the motor sounds week when closing, it is not and if you get any body part caught between the cover closing and the tailgate you will suffer some pain. I found this out when leaning over the tailgate to try and grab something out of the bed with the remote in my pocket. I leaned on the close button and got my arm pinched between the tailgate and the closing cover. I had some serious bruises. From what I have experienced there is nothing to reverse the motor if it becomes jammed or pinches something like an arm. Seems the motor current gets maxed out and the motor stops and the cover is locked there. I would prefer if there was some sort of safety here as I worry whenever my grand kids are helping me load something. Best advice is not to have the fob in someone’s pocket where it could unexpectedly get triggered.
One thing that has been a problem is the drains on the bottom of the canister box. These are used to drain water from the box. The drains are plastic fittings that twist and lock in the bottom of the box and have a semi ridged drain hose that goes to a hole in the bed. The issue is that any time you put a 2x4, a piece of plywood, or anything that fits under the canister box, it hits the tube or nipple and snaps it off.
I repaired and replaced these several times. I have now replaced them with a 90 degree barbed elbow on the bottom of the box and used a more flexible vinyl hose. Now the hose is much tighter to the box and tube is not getting hit every time something is put in the bed.
