Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Air Lift Analog Pressure Gauge with the air down option. Now for this video we're gonna be talking about the gauge. I happen to have a tire and wheel here 'cause we're gonna use that as a prop to demonstrate how the gauge operates. So basically this gauge will let you quickly air down your tires for better traction before your off-road adventures. The deflator function will let you manually deflate for incremental changes or attach for continuous rapid tire deflation.
And just to show you how this operates, I'm gonna first, we'll go ahead and take off our valve cap here on the tire. And with the cap off, now you can see there's a chuck on this end and you'll just thread that onto your valve stem. So once you start threading it on, you'll hear some of the air coming out. But as you keep turning it, tighten it down, it'll seal it. So with it totally tight, and you should be able to see there's your tire pressure, it's giving you its reading.
And we mentioned you could either take it out incrementally. And the way you would do that is basically, you would just push in on this and you'll be able to see when you just push in each time, (air hisses) you can just let out a little as you need. The nice thing about it is if you wanna let a lot of air out, what you can do is just twist this all the way clockwise and then you'll hear it'll just be continuous deflation. (air hissing) So say just like that, and then when you're, (metal clicks) just click it back and then it turns it off. So it's an easy way to either let out a little bit of air or clip it over and let out a bunch of air.
And then when you're done, just go ahead and unscrew this from your tire wheel. Put your valve cap back on and you're all ready to go. Now it is an analog gauge, so it does provide real time tire pressure reading and it is a very easy-to-read dial gauge. It measures in PSIN bar. PSI goes from zero to 100 PSI.
We mentioned the thread on hose connector has a nice textured surface on it for sure handling. And the hose, you can see is flexible, so it makes it easy to reach difficult valve stem locations. It is a brass construction and precision movement to ensure that you get consistent pressure readings. And if you notice they do include this nice small storage bag to store it in. You zip it open, put it together, slide it all the way in there, and then go ahead and zip it closed, and then you got it all kept together in one spot. And then just to get it back out, just go ahead and zipper it open, pull it out, and you're all ready to go. Now this deflator system is designed for your vehicle tires, your airbags, or anything that has a Schrader valve on it. But that should do it for a look at this Air Lift Analog Pressure Gauge with the air down option.
