Hate to say your tech person was of no help they never mentioned this Hopkins harness as an option. They suggested the Roadmaster set up which is no cheaper and requires splicing of wires and a whole lot more work. I discovered the harness from an RV forum site. Other than that, love the harness, easy plug and play no wire splicing can’t imagine using anything else!
Super easy install. Just plug it into the harness under the hood on the drivers side, run the 4wire down to where you are installing the TOAD plug and hook it up. The factory lights just work. No crazy diodes and wire splicing. Just plug and play. Best of all you can remove it just as easily.
I attached it to the side of the airbox with some stick on Velcro strips so it’s tucked neatly away out of direct line of site.
I chose this wiring kit because it was plug-in play. I’ll be installing it this weekend, should be a no-brainer.
Was the easiest light kit I ever installed plugged right in under the hood and works flawless. Shout out to Kelly she really knows her parts
Simple plug and play install
This doesn't work on 2 of the 3 vehicles that I use to tow the pickup. One is a chevy silverado 2019 and the lights work fine. When I plug the pu into either a dodge flat bed truck or My Newmar motorhome the lights on the f150 will not work.

It sounds to me like there is an issue with the four flat on your motor home and the connection on your Dodge because if the issue was with part # HM77VR it wouldn't work on the Chevy. So, you can use a circuit tester and test functions on the four flat to start with. You can also check out this FAQ page that walks you through some troubleshooting. I would take a look at method 1 in the attached link.

One package completes the electronic wiring for our F150 TOAD.
Just as information on the etrailer website under the description of the Hopkins wiring kit it says that it hooks up behind the tail lights. That is not correct it plugs in under the hood. In the case of my 2023 F-150 Platinum no brake light relay kit is required. I purchased one due to E-trailers recommendation but on my truck none was required.

Installed this over a year ago. Instillation was super easy. Have had zero issues.

Still works great, do wish the wire gauge they use is too small, the need to increase it a tad.
