Easy install, not a single cuss word.
As others have mentioned, the instructions were a bit lacking.Total install time probably took an hour longer than necessary.However, the final product was very satisfactory. Quality product and good looking.
No issues with etrailer.com whatsoever. Good price, prompt delivery, and item very well packaged. Product itself is very nice and looks great installed (did installation myself). Only complaint is with Westin. Instructions are a bit confusing, and pictures only show some of the rocker panel brackets (which are very similar to one another). Didn't notice until doing the final torque down of the hardware that the brackets had the part letter stamped on them. That detail was omitted from the instructions and would definitely have sped up installation.
Good quick service
Fits great! Used an impact gun to install the bolts because the holes in the truck frame were a tight fit but everything lined up well. Lots of adjustment on these but very solid! Very happy with how they turned out!
The rails and kit worked well. The sells rep "Joshua B" was very helpful and customer focused. I think I got the rails about a 1 1/2 days after talking with Joshua B?! Anyway after going thru (local shop) twice for the rails and having to take back and forth..., THANKS eTrailer!!!

the boards themselves are great, but i did not like the mounting brackets that came with them, i did not like having to drill or clamp to the body in any fashion, so i had to fabricate my own mounts that bolted directly to the vehicle frame . the brackets that i fabricated are much stronger and are stiffer . i made the brackets out of "c" channel 2x4x1/4" thick steel welded to 3/8" plate bolted to the frame with 5/8" grade 8 . i can stand and jump on the boards and not a bit of flex, 3 brackets per side.
The bars make the Ram look like a Ram TRX I constantly get positive comments on the bard

These Westin grate boards work great and look great. The grating grips my feet securely when stepping or standing securing a load. I had no difficulty attaching mounting brackets to the truck. I placed a couple buckets alongside the truck, lay the running boards upside down on the buckets, and precisely adjusted the adapter brackets on the boards to match the truck brackets, and flipped the boards over in place. Sweet.
Steps are awesome. Very sturdy and I really like the perforated steel for traction and to knock the mud of your boots before you get in the cab. We will see about how the hold up over time, but first impressions are good.
Great look but the best part is how heavy duty they are no plastic pieces to fall off over time like some other models and great traction your feet will not slip on these steps
I think the produce is very high quality and durable. The instructions are that great and there’s no video on your site for my exact vehicle. I went onto YouTube and found a few but none done that well, fortunately I learned just enough to figure it out myself and install them.
EXACTLY what we needed!! Our 2025 Chevrolet HD2500 work truck was too tall for us to get into, these bars are perfect. I have had these on my truck for almost 2 years. These steps are heavy duty and provide excellent grip. I was tired of my factory steps letting me slip when dismounting in the rain. For once I actually have something that grips my boots and survives rocks, mud, and constant use on work sites. Installation was straightforward and the quality is impeccable. The powder coating is very durable, but if you have someone accidentally back a trailer into it, it might scratch off. (This is not the fault of the steps or a failure of the coating) That said, they're so good, I'm putting them on my other work trucks in the future.
