When you’re hauling serious weight, a wheel that can handle the job makes all the difference. This 16" x 7" aluminum wheel is rated for 4,400 lbs and meets DOT specifications, so it’s ready for long-distance towing with confidence. The 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern and 0 offset keep things balanced and stable when the miles add up.
Road grime, rain, and salt air are no match for this rustproof aluminum construction. The matte-black finish gives it a clean, modern look while the clear coat on both sides adds protection from scuffs and scratches. It’s a lightweight design that won’t corrode and keeps looking sharp season after season.
If you like a bold but refined look, the mesh design with a machined face hits that sweet spot between form and function. The finish catches light without being flashy, giving your trailer an upgraded appearance that matches its performance.
The wheel’s precise specs—8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern, 4.90" pilot diameter, and compatibility with 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 wheel bolts—make fitment straightforward. It mounts up cleanly for a secure connection that stays true mile after mile.
Every part of this wheel is engineered for long-term reliability. With durable construction backed by a 2-year limited warranty, it’s a dependable choice for anyone who values performance that lasts as long as their travels do.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Sendel 16 inch by 7 inch series T17 Matte-Black Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight, and rust proof, and, as we mentioned, it is the Sendel Series T17, which is a mesh-style design wheel with a matte-black finish to it. Also, if you notice, the front and the back of the wheel are all clear coated.
This wheel is a high-quality wheel, meets the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications, and also the SAE J1204 standards. If you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you prefer to have one, we do sell those separately on our website. And you want to make sure to get a center cap that has the same diameter as the pilot hole in the wheel here 'cause when you install your center cap, it will install through this hole, and the diameter on this pilot hole is 4.9 inches. A few specs on this we're gonna measure is the diameter which is measured inside to inside.
So if we take our tape measure, and, if we go straight across, you'll be able to see there's your 16 inch diameter. The width we'll measure. This is also gonna be inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. Put our ruler on that. You can see there's your 7 inch wide wheel.
Now this wheel does have a bolt pattern of 8 on 6 1/2 inches, and if you want to measure that on a wheel like this, that's an even number of lugs. It's pretty easy because if you notice the lug holes are directly across from each other. So when you go to measure it, just pick any hole, let's say this one, and you'll measure from the center of that hole directly across to the center of the hole across from it. On this, it'll measure 6 1/2 inches, so it means it's an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. This wheel will use a wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, or 9/16 by 18, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 4,400 pounds.
But that should do it for the review on the Sendel 16 inch by 7 inch Series T17 Matte-Black Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
