When you’re carrying serious weight, you want a wheel that won’t flinch. This Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel measures 15" x 6" and is rated for 2,150 lbs. The all-steel build provides the rigidity you need to keep your trailer tracking straight under load, and it meets DOT standards for reliable performance on the road.
Corrosion is the enemy of every wheel, especially one that sees weather year-round. Dexstar’s two-step finish process starts with an e-coat primer for full coverage, then seals it with a white powder coat that resists chips and rust. That means a cleaner look and longer life without worrying about peeling paint or oxidation creeping in around the lug holes.
No guesswork when it’s time to bolt up. This wheel uses a 5 on 5" pattern with a 3.19" pilot diameter and accepts standard 1/2"-20 wheel bolts. With a 0 offset and a backspacing of about 3-1/2", it centers cleanly on the hub for proper alignment and balance—no odd spacing or rubbing to fight with later.
The zero offset keeps the tire load evenly distributed across the wheel hub, which helps maintain stability and even wear when towing. It’s the simple geometry that makes trailers feel planted at highway speeds and predictable in tight spots or uneven pavement.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexstar 15 inch by 6 inch White Spoke Steel Trailer Wheel with the 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern. Now, this wheel's a sturdy steel construction. It is the eight-spoke design, and this does give you excellent corrosion resistance, because they use a two-step finishing process, which first includes an e-coat primer, and then they cover with the white powder coat finish. The wheel is a high quality wheel, meets the DOT, Department of Transportation, specification. If you notice, the center cap is not included.
If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website, you just want to make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole, 'cause when you install that center cap, it'll go right through the hole. Pilot hole diameter on this wheel is 3.19 inches. Now, this wheel is made by Dexstar, which means it is made in the USA. I do want to give you a few measurements. We're gonna measure the diameter and the width of the wheel.
And when you measure the diameter, what you're gonna measure is actually the inside to inside measurement, 'cause when you mount a tire on this wheel, the beads of the tire are gonna seat right here. So what you're measuring is distance from bead seat to bead seat, to get you the diameter. So if we take our tape measure, and if we go bead seat to bead seat, there's your 15-inch diameter. The width will be the same way. Bead seat to bead seat, inside to inside.
Six inches for the width. Bolt pattern, we mentioned, on this wheel, is a five on five inch bolt pattern. And if you wanted to measure that on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, like, in this case, five, what you have to do is just pick any one of the holes, let's say, this one, and then you measure across to either one of these holes, but when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this one it'll measure five inches. So it's a five on five inch bolt pattern.
It does use the wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,150 pounds. But, that should do it for our look at this Dexstar 15 inch by 6 inch White Spoke Steel Trailer Wheel with the 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern.

I ordered 5 rims and they were delivered in about 5 days in 2 and 1/2 boxes. They were well packaged and free of any apparent visual defects. I was able to get them mounted to my tires on the same day. They look very nice and will do the job. I appreciated they had a load rating of 2,150 lbs ea.

These wheels look really great. I have been looking for these size wheels for a very long time. I bought a utility trailer with two different size wheel hubs and I couldn't find these size wheels. I ordered 2 wheels for spare tires on trailer, wheels were not in stock due to not so common bolt pattern but I was kept up to date frequently and wheels were delivered at expected date and in perfect condition, very satisfied!
Very difficult to find rim and etrailer had it! Arrived quickly and is everything as advertised. I bought this one for a spare trailer tire and mounted a 235 75R 15 tire on it. The tire beaded and the rim was fit checked and found to be perfect. Being a spare I don't have any on road usage to report. Hope I never have to use it but nice to have it.
First of all the price was hard to beat and the shipping was free and super fast. I made the mIstake of ordering the wrong rims and I dreaded how much my mistake would cost me to ship them all back and get it fixed however I sent them back But the rims I needed were out of stock for at least a month but once they came in they were shipped out very fast and I was surprised that they did not charge me any shipping to send the wrong rims back in to them. it would have cost me like $60 for my bolt hole pattern mistake however they ate the cost and did not charge me I was extremely pleased with the whole order and the Rims were in perfect shape and have performed very well on my car trailer towing vehicles and tractors. I would recommend them to anyone!

The first time I received one of these rims, it was defective, with a hole through the weld seam. The Etrailer staff remedied the error quickly and easily. The second one I received was a perfect condition replacement. It's specifications were exactly as stated in the product information, so I knew it would fit, even before testing it. I mounted a tire and I now happily have a spare for my trailer!

Still a good rim
Absolutely no complaints. Ordered late Monday night, got them Thursday, mounted & balanced Friday. I would have liked more color options but that's trivial! They look great for trailer wheels. Arrived with no scratches and all 6 wheels were correct dimensions ordered.
