You load up before sunrise, knowing the miles ahead will test everything. The drive stays steady, the trailer tracks true, and you spend less time worrying about the road and more time focused on getting the job done right.
When your trailer is loaded for the job, you still need confidence in what is under it. This tire is rated for up to 1,820 lbs in single applications with a Load Range C and 6-ply rating, giving you reliable support for utility trailers, small campers, and everyday hauling.
Highway miles can wear a tire down fast if heat builds up. The radial construction helps the tire run cooler over long distances, which supports more consistent performance when you are covering serious ground.
If your trailer weight changes from trip to trip, uneven wear becomes a problem. The tread is designed to stay consistent across different load conditions, helping the tire wear more evenly over time.
Trailers often sit longer than they roll. The enhanced sidewall compound helps resist ozone damage, which can lead to cracking, so your tires are in better shape when it is time to head out again.
Sway and wandering can make towing stressful. This tire is designed to maintain solid road contact, helping your trailer track more predictably behind you at highway speeds.
Rain or dry pavement, you still need control. The wide footprint puts more rubber on the road, which helps improve traction and stability in a variety of driving conditions.
Warranty: 1 year

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Karrier ST205/75R15 KR53 Radial Trailer Tire. So, this is a really solid trailer tire that's built for those who need reliability, especially if you're hauling heavier loads. This is rated up to 1,820 pounds. And as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped here on our tire, this is an ST205/75R15 tire.
It's a load range C tire, meaning has a six ply rating. And this is gonna run up to 50 PSI, maximum PSI. This is designed to fit 15 by 5 1/2 inch wheel, so it's a pretty common trailer wheel size. And if you're also looking for a wheel, we have those options here at etrailer. One of the nice things about this tire is the tread design.
It is made to wear evenly. Even if your load changes from trip to trip, that's gonna help the tire last longer. It's gonna save you from replacing it too soon. The sidewalls are also reinforced with a compound that's gonna resist things like ozone damage, which is a common reason trailer tires can crack over time. This is a radial tire, which is important because radials run cooler on the road.
Less heat buildup means better performance and longer life, especially on highway drives. Speaking of highways, this is gonna track really well. It's gonna stay stable so you don't get that wandering or swaying feeling behind your vehicle. And the footprint is a bit wider as well. That's gonna help grip the road better in both wet and dry conditions.
Now, if you need help getting this installed on your current wheel, we do have an option for you. On this Product Page, we have a link that's typically underneath our photo section. Click that link, answer the questions that it has for you, and that link will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to do the work for you. That was gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

I love the way you explained how the tires take on wet roads. Also, I wanted to ask if those were kennels on your trailer.

Oh my, they are still holding air. So far this year they made it to Orlando and Racine, about 4200 miles. Going through Illinois. I thought for sure Id have to air down due to road conditions. But they did fine.

One year later and the tires still look nearly new. I’ve hit a number of deep pot holes at 45 mph+ and no visible damage to the tires. The trailer still tracks the same as the first day they were installed. I will be buying these tires for my 25 foot travel trailer when the old ones were out.
