Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer and today we are in Oklahoma City at the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers Trailer Expo 2025, where we have quite a few of our vendors that we're gonna take a look at some of their products and some of their offerings, and I get a nice close look at them. I'm here with Brian Brophy from C.R. Brophy. Yes, C.R. Brophy Machine Works, you've had. Something synonymous with towing anything is gonna be strapping it down, and you're only as good as the tie down points to be able to do that, and you guys have options, so whether you're replacing a factory one or adding additional.
What all do you have Well, we've got several in-floor design, which are usually done by the manufacturer. You can do them yourself. It does require some removal of some of the wood flooring or even metal so that 'cause these are recess, so they'll go down into the floor. Whereas these are flush mounts, so they don't require, these don't require any boring into it. They're just a basic bolt-on.
The ones that are usually in, mounted into the floor are usually a higher rated one, and there are some larger ones than these that use carriage bolts that are five and six thousand pound rated, so if you're replacing them, you'd probably wanna stay with as close as you can to what you have. You also can use these type and put a backing plate on them, and you can get your strength way up there on any of these. This is a weld-on model. That would be a stainless steel. Again, you can use backing plates with all of these to give them more strength.
Oh yeah, if you have access to a welder, weld-on ones are great. Yeah. That's stuck. No, no. Yeah, if you don't have that welder-in that's, That's right.
I decked my dad's trailer out and added a bunch of extra tie downs because he set it up for some unique stuff of putting his golf cart on there, but when I had to use it, I was left trying to find good spots. Right. Well, I customized it for him by adding those in. Adding those. Yes, it's handy to have extra items. Oh yeah, absolutely. That's for sure. And and a lot of it comes down to is Okay, I have X amount of ratchet straps and oh, I can't make this jump across well, Right. You put another attachment point, you can so, Yeah, yeah. No, that's true actually. Huge thanks to Brian from C.R. Trophy for taking the time to show us all of their products. They're all fantastic options that you can get at etrailer.com, so take a look at those and see what might fit your needs. Thank you, Brian. Yeah, thank you, and I appreciate your guys' help about marketing our products, so thank you very much. Thank you. Yep.

The idea of it is great but I thought I was getting two. The price for one is over kill. The d ring is cheap .Their is other sites where I can get 8 for $80.00
Worked great for additional tie-downs on my ATV trailer.
I purchased four of the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchors, they arrived in a timely manner and it excellent condition.
Lighter in construction than I expected. Still works good for lighter applications where you need an additional tie down.
Stake pocket D-rings. They do the job they are supposed to. I just wish they had a couple different pin holes so you could adjust the amount of slack in the fit.
Package arrived in good condition though don't expect it right away. More importantly, the anchors are well made and have a nice-looking finish. They don't fit smoothly into all of the stake pockets on my trailer but I haven't measured to see if the problem is with the size of the pockets or the anchors themselves. No doubt, these are well-made, durable items. I'm looking forward to putting them to use very soon.
The trailer stake pocket I ordered these for is four inches tall. These were taller than most I found online. They fit well. Ordered on Wednesday, upgraded from free shipping to three day shipping. Had them on Saturday.
Works perfect on my equipment trailer. It allows me to change up my tie down locations for my tractor or other equipment.
E-trailers delivery time is excellent.
Their tech department has all of the information you need for a choice
The large hooks on my strap tie downs are easily to attach to my trailer now using these stake pocket inserts
You can't go wrong with this product. Bought four of these which I can use in any of my stake pockets on my car hauler trailer to attach my straps to. Great product and received them in two days from etrailer.com.
The product I purchased (stake pocket D-ring anchors) for the stake pockets on my car trailer are very well made, my only problem was that the tolerance on the dimensions were a little tight. I tried them on three different trailers with stake pockets and found they would require a little grinding to make them slip in without using a hammer. it did ruin the nice powdercoat finish, but they now will work for all three of my trailers with the same fit. Overall I am very happy because I did not have to go purchase metal and build my own.
Works great on my trailer. Having additional ties downs for different loads has been wonderful
Very well make. Welds look great. Smooth and not over-bulked, so they are less likely to fatigue and crack with use. Price is great! Fit and finish are both first class. I don't think you have to worry with wear and tear or accidentally running over one. They are stout.
And, as usual, ETrailer's employees are superb with questions, information, price, shipping, expediency in taking, filling, shipping out orders. No one better!
I bought two of these last year to try them out. It makes strapping items on my trailer so much more secure and simple. Therefore, I bought two more. Perfect!
All products ordered were of better than expected quality. The stake pocket tie-downs proved to be well worth the investment. Placed them in the pockets of my dump trailer and they were more than adequate for tying down my John Deere compact tractor without having to weld tie downs on the floor of the dump trailer. Great idea!
awesome product, fit perfectly in my stake pockets.very well made.i will know how well they work in a few weeks,my son will be useing them to tow his jeep to go 4 wheeling.i will be useing them later this season to tow my truck to the drag strip.
I thought these D-ring stake pocket adapters would prevent the rub rail from being damaged by chains and binders, but the D-rings are so small that they serve no purpose. just hook the chain or ratchet strap to the rub rail.
I gave them 3 stars because the product does fit and work as described, but they do not work for my application.
I use these on a 10' lawn equipment trailer that was pre-equipped with the "stake" pockets. These have proven quick, easy, durable, and well worth the investment. Excellent when used with hook-type tie- down straps. The equipment I needed to secure to the trailer did not allow me to use good strap connection points and I was frequently replacing the straps; these remedied the problem, allowing for improved strap placement, eliminatingwear/tear.
Quick and easy addition for strapping onto flat bed trailer. Seems strong enough for motorcycle tie down.
Would have been nice to have it closer to pocket height but I can modify or weld if necessary. Will be moving fencing next week and see how they do.
exactly what i needed for my trailer. fits fine in the trailer and provides a secure anchor point without having to do any welding or drilling into the trailer.
Work great
Just used 6 of these this weekend on my 26' gooseneck to haul 2 rock crawlers. Worked great and very convenient to be able to move around the trailer depending on the load. Had several people inquire about them as well after seeing them.
I use them on my 16 foot car trailer to strap down my loads or other people's vehicle's. Main use is strapping my Jeep JKU to go off road. Taken many 200 mile plus trips with the Jeep and haven't let me down.
A great addition to any trailer with pockets. Easy to use and remove. Quality made. I had a clearance issue with the pin fitting in the back trailer pockets but easily remedied with some grinding.
